so basically you are telling me we have to hotkey our abilities inorder for the proper rotation to happen? is this what im reading?

No, combat routine still very easy to use, the only change is on Burst on Hotkey.

The other burst like on Attack Power, on Bloodlust... don't change.

The burst on Hotkey = when user put a Hotkey it activate burst. Old logic it burst right away, new logic it will wait for all rune available before actually entering burst mode. It's for high end pvp only, most raider don't need it.
 
Yes you just use the hotkey to enable burst, which like any pro arena or BGer...you want to burst when the right time, AFTER CC or interrupt....you have to play somewhat manual to get 2.2k bro.
 
after using this routine on a near daylie basis for about 1 year and defending it against many troll postings about "Low dps in PVE!" blabla... i recently reached the point this routine is doing rly underperforming dps for me.

i have many DKs in very different speccs and ilvl ranges. right now about... 12 max lvl. i simcrafted a bit up and down for all of them with their gear and know my rotations quite good to test it selfhanded. my conclusion for PVE raiding right now is, that the routine kinda good for DW Frost till about ilvl 700. results near whats to expect. for blood its also nothing to cry about! but, and there comes the big one for me, unholy is underperforming around 20k for ilvl 710/715. on some fights even more. and im talking about comapring to self playing movement and all. on that point i switch back to full hand control. i would love to help getting better performances out of this. there are some good necro blight prio orders out there! skullflowers page is down, but versions on 6.2 still to be found! right now i can easy just let the twinks run on Singular and dont see much of a differnce...

(only PVE playing, no arena or BGs!)

I don't believe you.

If you are having issues performing with this routine you can contact tuahna directly with logs, and character info.

you can also contact me with the same information and I'll help you bring out some better numbers.

an example of gear not to have:

ANY BALEFUL (ITS ALL SHIT FOR DK's)
Steelforged Saber's (These again are SHIT)

If you want to keep up with DK's around 700 ilvl you're going to need Tier bonuses or your Mannoroth / Zakuun Trinket. both these trinkets alone are a 5-8k dps increase (each one) compared to other trinkets.


I can guarantee right now, in my Mythic Progression Guild, I am the number 2 DPS on 10/13 Fights the other 2 DK's lag behind quite a bit. (same in pugs, I never have anyone come near me)

I parse over 210k DPS on Kilrogg by going into the portal for my guild.
and a 94k DPS average currently on all other fights.

also dont try and necroblight as frost. you're already losing points there.

well, you dont have to, of course.

but im not talking about baleful charakters. main 720 equiped with both trinkets, also doing mythic behind gorefiend, and comparing: all hand / hand movement + routine.

and im saying frost is fine, unholy is doing no good for me. never said necroblight as frost, just unholy is doing no comparable numbers in any envoirment i tested.

My friend is playing in that spec to, with no trinkets (i mean the good ones) and half baleful half normal gear that drps in hfc, and rigth now is performing 40k dps, sometimes 50k (handed). Mine is bit low in gear, but i cant go up 14k dps. I dont know if im doing something wrong.

I will send a log to you guys, to see what im doing wrong. At the moment im only using the profile that you guys have in the folder of profiles, not touching the option yet.

Im interested in this matter, i relly like unholy and its playstyle.

Edit: Forgot to say that my friend play handed.

Try to open the "Class Config" and click the "Raid" button. The settings will be optimised for raiding by doing so.
 
And again... Unholy Problems only! No Frost.
My Complains were not about Settings. I realized those Buttons quite early...

Played around with different settings a lot. And i mean like hours over hours testing 5min, 10min, 20min, 30min target dummy fights with different CR and Botbases (Enyo seams not good right now also).
In LFR/nhc/hc Raids. Mythic i do by hand right now.
In always same equip and skills to be comparable. (basicly 4P, Mannoroth/Zakuun/Class depending on fight, 721 weapon)
 
First off unholy is shit atm just like all other classes that have different spec's like shammy mage rogue warrior and what not. There are certain specs you should use and ones that wont push out shit for dps due to the nerfs. Just so happens unholy is one of those thats crap right now. Most people that develope cr's are only working on the op specs per class atm you really should listen to some of the peeps in this forum they do know what they talk about including testing for themselfs. This xpack is all about gear related issues. All classes are going to push crap dps if they have the wrong spec'd gear on. Like me for example i needed help with my 707 frost dk and got the help i needed by asking phyxios. He knows his stuff and he is glad to help. Go play specs that are op atm and you wont over load the forums with these questions.
 
For example frost dk's need a crap ton of mastery and i do mean a crap ton also multistrike if im not mistaken. Load those stats and not with baleful gear i mean you are going to need tier maybe even legendary ring to pull good numbers. I had my settings all messed up so i wasnt pushing shit for dps and my gear was god awful with crit and haste or vers. so i needed to raid more get better gear and find a grp willing to pug me along with a few gdkp runs to get the gear i needed. try these and you will not have to worry your dps will hold for now.

Sounds everybody here thinks if someone is asking cuz of bad results hes playing in greens and no clue about speccs...
I read every Guide out there. Skullflower and what not. I know about stats and gear. Played DK by Hand from LK on. First of all, endgame mythic DK unholy for AoE and Frost for Single. Top-End even Breath-Unholy Single.

Im Saying that after much, much of testing in and out of raid the CR is not doing good with Unholy Necro-blight for me campared to hand playing. Not even testing BoS.

Idk how long you've been playing a dk, but it seems like you just rolled one. Folidar is talking exclusively about UNHOLY endgame(mythic) not FROST. Dude, UH endgame(mythic) BIS is better than frost. That's all that was said and every endgame mythic DK is playing UH. As time goes on in this tier and more and more people have access to mythic gear. People will start to roll unholy. Why not bring it up to Tuanha now so that it will be ready for those people? I am starting mythic progression and in order to stay viable and compete with my guild mates i'll have to play unholy. Remember there are only 20 seats in mythic and if you hope to have one of those seats you need to adapt with the times. Not saying frost sucks in mythic but if you are a true endgamer and min/maxer you are going to roll UH.

It's like you read a guide and Phyxios helped you, now you're a pro and know all.

Ya I apologize (totally glossed over a line of what you had said) I believe you fully with unholy, from what I see Necroblight is very poor with this routine, are you checking so it keeps your stacks up properly?

Hopefully we'll see better performance with it, but as Unholy I'd rather manually play in high end raids.

I seen a massive spike in my DPS yesterday. Come back today and I'm doing 35k again. I was breaching 50 after enabling Hardlock in Enyo, back low again today. I dont know what changed. I am using Free version at the moment whilst I wait for my key, any benefits to paid over free?
 
again the most popular class to play and you get no feedback from tuanha about defile not being used and from simcraft its one of the top dps abilities along side froststrike when killing machine is on
