Trouble starting HB client

This is a repost from my other thread, which I probably posted in the wrong directory. Hope it gets more hits here in the support section. Hope that my reposting isn't found in poor taste- I am a little frustrated that this isn't working, seeing as I paid for it, and I would like to get my bot up ASAP.



Hey guys. First time user. When I try to log in using the exe I see a line for my username, password, and a key icon. I do not know what to enter on the key line. I'm linked with the shop and should be set up on the auth portal. When attempting to log in without adding a value to the key line, an error is returned.

"Not all privileges or groups referenced are assigned to the caller" in a bug report window. If this does not occur, the program simply crashes.


When I log into the auth portal I see


* Current Honorbuddy Sessions: 0
* Current Gatherbuddy Sessions: 0
Buddy Sessions: 0/1

OR

Buddy Sessions: 1/1, but am unable to use the program all the same.


Any ideas?

the key part is only if you have a flight key which I assume you don't. Just leave it blank and if you're a lifetimer leave it blank aswell as your account already has flight activated... Do you run it as administrator?

run hb.exe as admin

EDIT: Disregard my reply, I did a Google search like I should have to begin with. Seems to be working now. Thanks for the heads up, though. And sorry for asking such a noob question.

I'll admit that I don't really know how to go about doing this. I'm not very savvy with Windows 7.

Also, I figured the "key" thing out after the fact but didn't want to edit the original post and have to reformat my grammar . No flight plugin yet, just testing the bot for now, 1 year memb. currently.

the privledges issue is on your end

run hb.exe as admin

double click your hb folder
find 'honorbuddy'
right click 'honorbuddy'
run as administrator
if there is a popup asking if you really want to run it as admin, click yes

profit

edit:edit: I'm probably trying to load a grind profile as a quest profile?
"Can not start quest bot - this profile does not contain a quest order!"
reinstalling profiles now.

you are on Questing and you are trying to use a grinding profile
