Tripwire claims, are they really true?

Ive been botting on a few accounts since the last banwave. I botted DURING the last ''flag-event'' (21 jan) and only 1 account got banned a few days ago. All accounts were botted on 10-20h/day with 50% supervision. Did leveling, gathering & goldfarming.

Im happy only 1 account got banned, but I kinda find it strange that none of the other accounts got banned...

I have a feeling the bans happened based on something small that is being overlooked by the HB users, maybe something as silly as chatting while the bot is doing a rotation or something...
(im basing this speculation on the mere fact that my banned account is the only one i had used for anything else than botting, ie. chatting, some manual combat/movement,i tried to act human)

Well there's also another thing that people always seem to forget is people. Everyone SHOULD know that no program is going to be a 100% safe and that they should factor in that PEOPLE report botters. I have yet to be banned on any accounts so far *knock on wood*

The detection was being updated a week before the tripwire event.
I've said it before & people keep saying I'm wrong and talking out of my ass...lets all believe that

Ok I was a lurker for a long time, but personally I have lost 3 accounts in just a mere span of 2 months, and I figured I should say something. Note I have been botting since 2010, so I know what I am doing.

After the tripwire was activated on the 21st, you guys gave a window of how people logged in with hb 12 hours before or after the detection were most probably flagged. I went on a business trip overseas during that time, and was away for 4 days not logging into WOW at all, and thus there is no way for me to be detected if the detection period is really what you have stated. However this time, I got hit hard, with 2 of my last accounts down, even though I wasn't even on remotely close to the supposed tripwire detection period. And no, I haven't been using other softwares either.

As such, I was disappointed to see how the devs attributed to the loss of accounts to ''those who were caught in the 21st tripwire activation''. Because I sure as hell wasn't caught then, so why am I banned for 6 months?
I am really wary to purchase anymore of the hb products now because the cost and time spent just doesn't cut it.
Can I have a comment or something of what might have happened from the devs?

They don't feel we are worth the time to create a 64bit client and will continue to use up the people that are dumb enough to still use HB until there's no one left.

They care very little about our accounts regardless of what they say. Actions speak louder than words.

It's a shame - personally they could have made 100s more off me alone but due to the buddyteam showing their colors throughout and the state of wow, I won't be coming back for legion.

Botting is dead but in all fairness, wow has been dead for almost 10 years now. Leave it for the kids guys!

Anyone find it interesting that just before this witch hunt that is about 12 years too late ( what a better game it could have been if they banned bots from the get go) they stop reporting sub numbers? I'd bet they're fewer than ffxiv now or damn close.

Still even with just 500k subs they would be making ludicrous amounts of money so really there's no way to win this one.

There's no need because creating a 64bit client isn't going to do absolutely anything and would just be a massive waste of time and resources.
The bans that Honorbuddy users widely receive are the result of detection algorithms that are beyond that of just looking at the client's bit operation.

People who bring up the "64bit" discussions are just completely desparate for something to blame because they can't come to the truth that bans are inevitable regardless of what precautions are took.
Either that, or they're not considerate enough to think that Blizzard's multimillion dollar anti-bot/hack team is a lot more experienced in finding ways to ban bots rather than looking at if a game client is 64bit or not.


I hate to break it to you, but there's already 64bit bots and hacks out there and they've all had their own banwaves. So give up on the idea and save yourself from looking like a moron.
