Tripwire activated. Shutting down Honorbuddy

Yep mine just tripped right now, never seen that before I thought my key had expired or something.
 
You guys are bumping a thread from last year. Everyone who runs Honorbuddy will get the tripwire, there's no need to post about it.
 
yeah trip wired, i tried to start back up and it closed down immediately, I am playing by hand at the moment so as not to appear suspicious, I'm afraid tomorrow may be the end since i am sure it's gonna be a big patch with the 12 hour maintenance
 
I also got hit with a tripwire running hunter rotation to help kite and kill a porcupine spirit beast.
 
In my opinion Tripwire itself reveals whose botting. Every HB user closing wow at the exact same time? GG Blizz
 
Also got tripwired, I did a fresh install of HB and still getting tripwired. WE"RE DOOMED!!!!

I concur with this - they very likely found what would cause the tripwire to kill a session and just sent it to see who got closed, now the thing is with the millions of players it'd be VERY hard to JUST use that as evidence since undoubtedly SOME could have been disconnected at the same time, but for sure it would give them accounts to start looking at.
 
Yeah I just got the same "Tripwire activated. Shutting down honorbuddy" message. Tried to reactivate a couple times and honorbuddy closed out both times. got disconnected once but not the other times. Perhaps warden is on high alert due to the coming patch. Any Devs able to provide us with a little insight?
 
so what does this mean in terms of, Will it be down till a new build is configured? down for good? Is there a general time frame to being back up if at all?

Sorry about the novice of knowledge here, just never seen this as a problem before.
 
I'd be surprised if any of the Dev's are awake right now, they are in Europe after all. So probably not going to have honorbuddy for a few days till they fix the tripwire thing and with a potential patch tomorrow it may be even longer.
