Hello, I've been a fan and user of DB for a couple of years. Recently, upon buying a new laptop and installing all my things, I have yet to make DB function as smoothly as it did on my previous laptop. I have searched the forums for similar issues, tried things people said solved them, but to no avail.

The problem: Starting DB takes an unusually long time to load. After hitting "Start" it also takes upwards of 30 seconds to begin doing anything. During that 30 seconds the DB window is frozen, and when it finally starts I get an error like " [TrinityPlugin][Performance] Execution of LoadResourceForWindow took 608.93842ms"
It happens with a few different executions. While DB is running, framerate ingame drops as low as 2 FPS. Looking at performance on my task manager, neither program is using over 5% cpu/RAM, so I dont know where this performance issue is coming from.

I have disabled windows firewall, added exceptions in my AV, tried different compatibility modes, uninstall/delete DB folder, reinstall with newest updates, disabled sound in D3, changed graphics settings in d3, and played with a few settings in DB. nothing has fixed it so far, and I am beyond my realm of knowledge on these matters.

I have attached a small logfile with startup and the first few minutes of botting. PC specs below. If anyone can provide assitance on the matter, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Origin EON 17-X
Windows 10 HP
GeForce GTX 980M
Intel Core i7-6700K @ 4.0Ghz
16.00 GB RAM

Try setting TPS to 8 in Advanced and see if that lowers your CPU usage, it should be in the range of 3-7%. At 30 TPS i would expect 10-20%.

The in game frame rate drops tend to be related to anti-virus or other programs interfering with DB. Tony in support channel deals more with DB core issues than i do so he may have more information for you on compatibility. You said its a laptop, so check that the power mode is on high performance and not power saving or balanced as it may be reducing CPU performance dynamically.

As far as start-up times some work needs to be done to improve that, i think its mostly loading the huge amount of xaml for the settings window but i need to look into it more.
