Trinity TownRun not salvaging items!

I set magic and rare items to be salvaged and there are no other rules in effect but everytime my inventory gets full it stashes all the trash i loot.
also when i press config the 2nd time, demonbuddy crashes!

help. i want to salvage my blues and rares. just bought trial version this morning. no idea wtf is going on.
