Trinity Plugin not working with Demonbuddy v1.1.2756.436

Hello, my Demonbuddy was working fine till today an update appeared. After the update the Trinity Plugin is not loading and thus my Barb just stands in front of the mobs until is killed over and over again. Adventurer and QuestTool load properly.

Solutions?

My Trinity doesn't work with the beta even with a fresh install. Have the "Choose Trinity as Combat Routine" error.

Are you using a fresh install now since Trinity stopped working? Using YAR? First time you setup a new Trinity install you need to manually log into the game for the Plugins to show up. I have had this issue before.

It sounds like you let the auto-updater run. This has never worked well for me.

When [if] you installed the latest Trinity on a fresh install, did you delete the included Trinity/QuestTools, or did you insert them into the Plugins folder and let them overwrite? You need to delete the original folders, not paste over them.

Download the latestest Trinity/QT:

Extract the DB to a fresh directory, do not reuse any files from previous installs.
Open the Plugins section of the directory you created.
Delete the Trinity and QuestTools folders
Open the new Trinity and QuestTools file you downloaded, place those 2 folders into the Plugins directory.
Manually open up the game and login.
Then open DB, login, it should give you a popup for routine, pick Trinity.
Now you can use YAR or whatever else you like. Setup Trinity and Adventurer however you like, etc.

TwoCigars, indeed, I let the autoupdate run. Lesson taken. I tried re-installing Trinity to no avail and ended up following your suggestion of a fresh Demonbuddy beta install with QuestTool and Trinity. Now happily getting those Forgoten souls again :cool:
