- It face tanks elites and rift guardians a LOT. It should play like a ranged class. As an example when Nemesis bracers are equipped and you spawn an elite from a pylon, you should dash away and WoL from ranged to utilize the Zei Stone of Vengeance gem and to stop you from getting beaten to death.
- Hexing pants are not working. If you can get these to work its a flat 25% increase to damage.. its SO big to ignore. I'll link a video below showing Hexing Pants not working as intended. The buff from moving lasts approx 1 second so you need to Move > WoL > Move > WoL etc.
- Without pants i get 75b WoL crits, with the pants (when buffed) i get up to 105B crits.

Yeah I know about all of this, but it's not easy to get working you know. Also, I thought this was a T10 build, so does it really matter that it won't stay ranged half the time?
 
First off the new MonkCombat.cs works wonders! It's alot smoother most places compared to the old version.

I didn't want to start another thread as this is also regarding WoL, just not the LoN-build, but using sunwuko.

The bot starts off fine casting sweeping wind and it stacks up to 3 right away.
As most mob up to 55(for my current setup) die from 1-2 shots almost no mobs come in range and you keep stacking sweeping back up to 3 after each attack.
When mobs DO get into melee range and don't die from the first 1-2 shots you're left with 1 stack sweeping wind and the bot just stands there until death or until something else triggers a movement.

I get the logic that if you protect that last sweeping wind stack you don't have to recast sweeping all the time, but babysitting the bot you're able to dash away and get 3 stacks up and then kill the mobs straight away.

Babysitting this I farm 65 in 7-8 minutes with sunwukos by just dashing away when this happends, but the bot frequently dies from this even on 55 if left alone.
 
It's a problem with GetSafeSpotPosition. After it gets close to a mob it seems to fail to recognize it and thinks it's in a safe spot, so the bot will stay there getting its ass kicked. We'll look into it eventually, but it's low priority for now I'm sorry to say.

That video you are watching is me completing GR60. It takes <2min every run. Sometimes under <1M. My Leg/hour is 140 and blood shard is almost 8k/hour. Fastest farming spec in the game. You put the bot into GR's at night and wake up with all your gems at 60 or higher, its actually incredible.

The only reason i cant go higher than GR60 is because the pants are not supported and because i start to die due to not attacking from range.

very nice video! im glad finally someone is doing great with LoN monk. and the vid definately show cases dashing strike well.

would you think adding support for hexing pants would work well though? he would be stutter stepping alot. I mean its worth a shot, crusader does the hexing pants snapshot well thanks to jubisman!

you can maybe add the following code under "CanCastWaveofLight":

if (ZetaDia.Me.Movement.SpeedXY == 0)
return false;

so that he literally only uses WoL when his moving. I copied it out of jubismans great work :D (I think it should work) not playing monk atm to test sorry

Not an issue. Currently we're standing still for 3-4 WoL before moving so in fact with full support for Hexing pants we should actually move faster through rifts. Not to mention this build is all about killing things before they can reach you as you have very little defense. 25% extra damage will go a long way.
 
Will happily reward someone if they can get hexing pants to function properly :)
 
People completed 80grifts with the Sunwuko set. Sunwuko is actually alot stronger then LoN setup, also easier to gear up for. But it suffers sweeping band problems, because it also doesnt play as ranged. I also made a thread about this a week ago.

Every Wave of Light version needs to be played as ranged and kite, because:

1. Zei's Stone of Vengeance(40% dmg max range)
2. Tzo Krin's Gaze
3. Sweeping band (Sunwuko version)
4. To avoid alot of damage

Enough reasons? If you play either Sunwuko or LoN version. Both versions are fastest TX farmers in the game. Yes, faster then Wizard and Crusader. Which are supported so well by bot. But Monk could also be fastest Grift 60-70 gems farmer ingame, when played well by bot. Maybe even higher who knows.

Some suggestions to OP:

1. Use Pox Faulds pants
2. Use Bane of stricken instead of Zei, especially for higher grifts.
3. Try use Momentum/Unity passives for more damage.
4. Use unity in cube instead of CoE, if you die alot
5. Epiphany/Desert shroud, if you die alot or spirit issues. (it will teleport to enemy which is bad, but it plays like melee anyways) ( also im not sure about bell doing no dmg with epip in centre bug)

Once you have enough damage and crit damage. For TX only: use Envious Blade in cube. Can remove crit chance from most gear. You will 1 hit everything, except maybe rift boss. This will be fastest. No spirit issues either.

Currently use Pox Faulds... just not great giving up the 25% buff of Hexing. So strong.

For hexing to work you need to stutter step, like with old hammerdin If I remember correctly. Bot should be able to do that. Monk just needs more love.
 
well... i tried to farm some with One Punch build but.... when i equip Tzo Krin`s Gaze bot is not doing anything in rift he just jump around and die... not casting WOL at all... when i changed helm to something else everything is back to normal....
monk.cr isnt suitable for Tzo Krin`s Gaze? I dont rly understand wth is going on
I saw other topics where ppl saying that they are farming with this build... but my DB with latest trinity and adventurer isnt working for this...

any help??


OK i think i figured it out!

when i roll back to trinity 2.14.31 i see that everything i ok...
but in 2.14.39 there was:
Monk:
WoL monk should no longer cast WoL when Sweeping Wind has las than two stacks -jubisman

and i think this caused a problem... also in in .31 there is an option in trinity monk tab to always cast sweeping wind before WOL, and in .39 this option is missing

i think that change in 2.14.39 casued all the problem... also i noticed that in 2.14.39 when i manualy casy 1-2 WoL to get those 2 stacks of sweeping wind bot stars workin until he losse all stacks... then it backs to doing nothing... its kinda anyoing becasue you must use sweeping wind to get this work... without sweeping wind in your skills bot will only die....

WoL is only available in the SVN build, and even then, only partially configured.
Have a problem, try looking at the Combat code to see what it's doing... Rather than QQ'ing.

Doesn't take a genius to check.

You really need Kyoshiro'sSoul to even make the build sync.

First of all I didnt know where to check Current supported builds!!! And TBH i dont care about it...
Even if You equip those items you posted IT WONT WORK... becasue bot will only cast WoL when you have 2 stacks of sweeping wind... its .39 change... so If you dont have sweeping wind in your active skills and/or belt that gives you 2 stacks permanently (forgot name) bot WONT cast a shit... so plz stop beeing so "Usefull"
also if you want to do fast tX for breaths/keys you dont want to have this SW belt , becasue you want goldwrap/nemesis (equip/cube config)
