Trinity Bug/Request Tracker Thread

Ever since rrrix went to Cuba on us there have been quite a few problems pointed out by the userbase. The purpose of this thread is to make it easy and provide a nice check list for Trinity developers.

Also, we don't want rrrix having too much free time on his hands when he comes back.

Feel free to contribute in any way you think is necessary here. I'll edit this post as new stuff is brought up.

Bugs:

Barb:
  • Use WOTB on 50% health should be optional.
  • WW zigzag radius is too big for players that don't use RLTW. This causes a decrease in damage output
  • Use WOTB on Hard Elites Only seems to ignore hard elites sometimes
  • Use WOTB on goblins seems to be broken. Trinity will often cast WOTB even though this is unchecked

DH:
  • Shuriken Cloud isn't being cast as often as it should


UI:
  • Gold Inactivity Timer current max (600) is too low for some rifts. This value should be increased

Combat:
  • Avoid Death doesn't work for melee classes. Trinity will try to run and then just keep going back and forth because of the nature of melee attacks (close range combat)



Requests and Merge Requests:


Objects:
  • Powerful Shrines (Bonus damage, Conduit, Reduced Cooldown, Damage Reduction) should be given priority over battle for melee classes
  • Same goes for health globes if health is too low and potion is not available

Barb:
  • EarthQuake Optimization: here
  • Option to cast CoTA everytime one of them dies, if using IK set
  • Modify AoE Health should a (high) value for Molten Cores

Monk:
  • Spam Dash Strike with RoTS set bonus and Jawbreaker: here


WD:
  • Option to keep moving always if Hexing Pants are equipped
  • Option to summon only one Zombie Dog if Tall Man's Finger is equipped

Crusader:
  • Refer to this thread

DH:
  • Vault optimization for Double Danetta's: Refer to this thread
  • Skill tweaks for Marauder DH: here

Wizard:

The Shuriken Cloud issue is easy enough to fix. It looks like it just hasn't been updated in ages.

Another (possible) bug is that my characters don't like to kite enemies that teleport on top of them, even though they kite non-teleporting enemies. I don't think it's a settings problem, unless I have something enabled that conflicts with the kiting in that case.
 
Does this happen to every ranged class?


I remember my Wiz dying to melee sometimes, but I hadn't noticed the pattern at that point. I'll try to look through the code and see if it's fixable.

Cool.

I messed around a little with the new DB beta and it doesn't seem to have fixed any of the bugs mentioned. Can anyone confirm this?
