Monks here, Monks there.... Fotm I get it, but where's the optimization for DH's?

-Randomly stop moving and/or attacking mobs until it dies...
-Does Not cast RoV when Off CD (Option is ticked in Trinity) *Big DPS and Survivability loss here*

No need to get frustrated because one class is receiving more attention now... i'm sure the DH issues will be addressed too, and by the looks of it, in the very same post you linked, they are in process of doing so or at least showing some concern about it, if you care to read the entire thread i'm sure you will find out.
 
I'm still saving my 50+ keys until I get a decent FD with life per hit. Or maybe decent dual wield weapons. I'm curious to how the dual wield build does with the bot, anyone?


Supposedly DW with 10% cd reductions on each, is supposed to be amazing, if you can get enough CD reduction to get epiphany up people are going 55+

Why I can't be little bit frustrated? Is it not the better place to complain about DH issues that the Trinity forum itself? Btw, readed that thread and no solutions atm, that's why I'm here. :rolleyes:

For starters, i dont think this (or any) is the "better place to complain" about issues. If anything, this might be the best place to report found issues or share constructive feedback. If you think you need to complain about the state of a specific class i'd first research the forums a bit, just to see if there is any post regarding your specific issue and it's solution, if there is none i'd start one and (again) ask for constructive feedback/experiences/possible solutions of the community, maybe that would catch a devs attention faster than a complain.
Also i see in the linked thread, there is one person posting a possible solution maybe and someone else willing to try it out and see the outcome...

And thanks agaun to Fujiyama for the continued support :D
 
Hey all I am new to DB.

I play monk and have found some help to setup a routine here on the forums, however when I enter trials it goes up to like 44 which I can't complete yet because they hit too hard. How do I set a limiter on the routine so I can farm like grift 35-38 or so. Thanks in advance and sorry for bad english

I did my research, dont worry. Since latest DB Build DH is broken and it's not fixed yet. So people that want to bot with DH they simply can't and they get fustrated and reroll a Monk in the meantime. Btw, like you said "this might be the best place to report found issues" and that's what I did in first place. Read mi first post.

Oh, and there's no solutions on that thread, just a build that someone uses to farm T6 with Nats. If you cared to read the entire thread i'm sure you would find out.

Hope someone take a look into those issues.

Go to QuestTools options inside DB and in General Options Tab check: Trials Rift - Disable combat at wave: 5 (for 19 grift stones) or 6 for (24-26 grift stones), from there u can ask the bot to always upgrade key, so you end with 34-36 grift stones and start the cycle again. Hope this helps a bit :cool:
 
doesnt cast inner sanctuary hardly at all.
Try to edit this. It will cast inner sanctuary whenever you have at least one mob (even trash mob) in sight. I reached 49 with this. Ofc this makes only sense with dual wield monk (71,xx% cdr) where you can more or less spam that skill.

There is an issue with the d.hunter using all the discipline trying to avoid everything. it will constantly vault (zig zag) into and out of packs. Using smoke has the same result.
The new set Unhollowed requires as much discipline as possible.

Fix's? or anyone else run into this and had a solution?+

  • Better at casting epiphany and inner sanctuary around trash.


Edit: If you got this early you will find out very soon I made a typo. Fixed now.

i confirm epiphany and sanctuary suck, working very bad , and movement is strange, worse
on the version before the two days I was making 50 GR, now i have problem with 48 GR

I went back to the old version, and again it is better

With a clean install (very important) and running QuestTools 3.4.16 and using this Trinity Settings, Dh runs smoothly and kites/avoids very well. Running for about 2 hours, farming 35-39 grifts with no issues atm. :D

On Trinity fork Settings, select "DemonHunter - Ranged Grift" if you are using UE set for Grift. Otherwise try "DemonHunter - Melee Grift" for Nat's set (not tested yet).


P.D: If you're going to download DB, make sure you choose ZIP file, it seems that installer is bugged and wouldn't work.

The Quest tools Gem upgrade is completely broken for me as well, it just upgrades a random one no matter what my priority list looks like.

this just started happening to me as well, with 2.8.4 and 3.4.16...

Any way to make it fully clear normal rifts?

try riftbot profile for full clears. rrift only does clears to boss.

I made the changes you said, however I still cannot get about 12 tick/s.... what are you currently getting? I have TPS modifcation turned off. Would setting it on and turning it to 30 make a difference?

i have found that turning on TPS modification, unchecking lazy raider, and setting the priority of the diablo3.exe to high (using task manager) consistently gets me TPS in the 35-43 range, or sometimes higher.

E.g. I removed the new setting of <=60% life before casting sanctuary, also I set it to one trash mob only as well. On 50 a single white bogan trapper (i hate them) can one shot me without cds up :)

Would be cool to integrate a slider or submenu for "T6 -> Grift 1-45 -> 45 and up" with pre-defined settings. I think buddyme's trinity fork has some settingsmenu for loading such values. Could be really good to integrate stuff like this for monk as well ;)
Although this is already getting complicated as I am running 3 db's with your fork, buddyme's fork and the original trinity trying to figure out what has the best daily updates as I run multiple classes.

I changed MonkCombat.csi TargetUtil.cs those of 25 April and works better, but the movement is still strange and often figure lost targets and way, and shifts back
