tried, tried again. Rift crashes and ryftomate crashes when i attach to character

im having the same issue tried again and again, not a sandy bridge CPU nor is it any petty thing like that, windows 7.

The steps outlined resolved the error for me. After removing the folder I was able to attach successfully.
