tried, tried again. Rift crashes and ryftomate crashes when i attach to character

OK, I have used eq2bot and have used macrogoblin, so this is not the first time i have set up a bot program. I have followed the instructions explicitly. I also unblocked the zip file and updated&repaired dotnet 4.0. I downloaded and installed the C++ and the service pack file. I restarted my computer 3 times. I launch rift as an administrator and also riftbot as an administrator. However, the same thing always happens.

I get to step 4....

and rift crashes asks for a bug report, and so does ryftomate.

I am running vista. decent but not uber gaming system. I have paid for 30 days because sometimes it takes a while to see if a game assist program is good or not. however....

if it wont launch it aint good and i am out 9.95.:mad:
 
In your ryftomate folder will be a logs folder. Post your log here as an attachment. It will help the devs determine what's going on with your system.

Firstly, you are entitled to a refund if you are not happy. There is no way we would keep your payment if the bot doesn't work for you.

Then in the simple guide make sure you have these first.
Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)

followed instructions working on msn download

As i said in my post, i downloaded and installed the files before the post that you reccommended. i need to create an msn account, will try live support. ScreenHunter_01 Jun. 05 11.57.gif

I dont have a log file to attach, but here is what i see when it crashes rift and crashes itself.
 
Encountering same error that sounds similar:

1. Launch riftpatchlive.exe as Administrator
2. Login to character
! Ryft is ready for game play at this point
3. Launch rytomate.exe as Administrator
4. Click Attach in Ryftomate (name blanked in pic below)
! Ryft immediately displays a "RIFT - Error Handler" window

5. Click Cancel on error handler window (which does not appear to dismiss otherwise)
! Ryftomate error message window displayed with message "Pipe is broken" (pic attached)

Neither app appears to leave error logs.
 
Are you guys using one of the new Sandy Bridge CPU's with integrated graphics?
 
Please post for refunds if its the only machine you have. We are stuck for a couple of days fixing other issues and then will release fixing this.
 
happened to me before on my vista pc. everytime i attached everything crashes so what i did was i went to the rift folder and open the properties for rift.exe and set it to run in admin mode.. then i also did the same with riftpatchlive.exe and rytomate.exe and then somehow it worked. no harm in tryin this

yeah that was a diff problem :P
 
I dont have a sandy bridge processor. i am running vista home premium sp2. i dont have a coproc folder in my nvidea folder.

I would rather have the program work than get a refund, can the attach insta death be fixed?

does this have anything to do with it?

vista will not let me turn off DEP for rift or for ryftomate... had to do this with innerspace...
