Protip for you who are on busy servers and see players farm alredy, simply make a friend log onto some other server witch btw needs to be same type of server for example PvP or PvE. And make him/her to create a lvl 1 toon and let that person transfer you to a server where you can farm without getting disturbed. I've been doing this a lot of times great for farming rares too! :)

you cant crossrealm with lvl 1. you will just pull him to your server
 
Great work! But only one thing upsets me: why do you chouse that place? There are much better places for farm. With these spirits almost no greens, no Windwool Cloth, no Guo-Lai Cache Keys, no money loot and rogue cant pickpocketing. Its sad. Botanist, is it possible to change farm location? Or do 2nd profile for different location.

Take it form someone who has spent over 1,000 hours farming skyshards. The mogu at this spot is the best place to farm ~skyshards.

If you want a profile that nets you LOTS of greens, keys, cloth, other small pointless bull shit with less of a chance at skyshards, go farm those.

lol, spirits has lower drop chance than other mogu... look at wowhead
btw if you change the place, it could be best gold make profile. I earned ~1 million gold last month with other skyshards profiles, but they was not 100% AFK. And I didn't run 24/7. So I could get much more.

If you know a better location, send me a pic of the location. I can easily modify the profile once I have all the bugs worked out.


Also, the profile is mainly designed to farm Skyshards. If you wish to farm something else, perhaps you need a different profile.

I can say, I received 3 skyshards today. I tested the profile for approximately 8-9 hours with 3 accounts at the same time. I got 1 shard on each toon, plus one 476 epic cloak. Personally, I am happy with that. The profile does exactly what it was written to do.

You're right, I get it. Sorry for criticism. Anyway, it's very good profile, and if you might make another one later at different place, I will be very happy.
 
Yes, please show me more pinpoint accurate wow head data about how other places are better.

I did 500 hours testing in both this area and the one in the north of vale. This area yielded 54 skyshards while the other yielded 41.

While this one may not be "better" (since it's dumb luck to get one at all) don't throw wow head data to support your claim.

Not to mention that Tol-Vir generates shitloads of greens, blues and embersilk. Disenchanter/tailor is nice combo, make embersilbags that still sells good on most realms. Hypnotic dust is often highly sought after as well.
 
Thanks alot for the fast and complete reply. Custombehavior id DeleteItems, i think might be better for MrItemRemover if you solely want to remove 1-2 specific items.

Anyhow, I d like to ask, do you think the supposedly path detection Blizz used for tracking down Gatherbuddy2 public profiles (reason randombuddy etc were born) applies to instance farming as well? I mean if i keep running your profile over and over again, should i be flagged? Maybe we can add a small randomization factor like randombuddy to it? I ve done initial tests outside of C# though!

I have no idea. Logically speaking, there are very limited paths in instances which hand players and bot must use. With GB2, you are flying in "open" space, technically no reason to use the same hotspots repetitively. Ultimately who knows? I believe any repetitive behavior can be scripted to auto trigger a red flag, regardless of whether HB is detected or not. Hence the reason I suggest never running one instance more than 1-2 hours before moving to another. All of which can be scheduled using Arelog and a few movement profiles to change continents.


FYI: I encourage users to install notepad ++ Then you can easily open an XML document and fine tune some settings to your specific needs. No coding experience is really needed to understand XML !!!
 
Good profile, i got my last 4 shards in a few hours, sadly your profile sold 25x balanced trillium ingots & 22x lightning steel ingots of mine though, that i can't get back anymore. I'm going to try and see this as a fair trade for my new mount :(
 
Grats on the shards. Sorry about your mats. These kind of things happen. Hence the "Available for Beta Testing" on the first post. I will modify the profile to mail everything instead of using a vendor.

It helps you put on an easy Protected list, as well as destroying 'Funeral ashes' so you dont ever even have to worry about even going to a vendor!

Ran last night, AFK while sleeping for just a little over 8 hours.

2 Skyshards
1 boe blue (sword, sold instantly this morning on AH for 2.4k)
0 boe epics
3 GI Lockboxes
29 Greens
109 Motes of Harmony (stack of Golden Lotus, 800g)
32 Spirit Money (11g ea vendor trash)
495 Lovely Charms


It looks like this profile runs a lot smoother with TUANHA CC versus singular.
 
Update:

  • Modified the vendor settings. By default the profile will now mail everything except grays, which it will vendor


Update via the public SVN only. The attached zip on the first post has not been updated.

Post any errors or missed links in the profiles.
