will give this a jam with 4 raf's once i finish my new chars on new server. looking forward to using it again.
 
At this point, the profiles are going to be foolproof as far as safety of the RAFs is concerned. As long as the bot doesn't derp around, then the profiles should do their job very well.
 
We have taken a great deal time to make sure your toons don't get instance locked. But, just incase they should get instance locked, we have implemented code to detect you not entering the instance, it will then wait 20 seconds and attempt to enter again. It will loop this action until it finally enters the instance.

OK, we encountered a new problem when using two seperate instances that are less than 12 minutes travel time apart.

The instance times are now so close together that we have had to change all reset conditions and checks to the end of the profiles

in order to avoid double resets in less than 12 minutes when changing instances. This will affect all the profiles above level 27, decreasing

total runtime from 10-85 by 2.6 hours as well as avoiding the instance locks. Plus we added an infinte loop check for entering the instance

in the event that you do get instance locked. It will wait 20 seconds and then attempt to re-enter the instance repeatedly until you finally enter.

Since we no longer use timers to trigger RAF movement and now use proximity triggers this protects the entire group from advancing

while 1+ characters are instance locked. The profile will not advance past the proximity check until all members are present.

The good news is that we have finally made it to the UBRS profile.

I first want to say that these profiles are amazing. I have now used them to level 6 characters to 80, made enough gold to buy flying for all the 80's and leveled extremely fast with them. For the most part (I'll get into this a little more in a minute) these profiles are almost perfect. You can't really ask for more if you have multiple RAF accounts to use.

I'll give some details of the setups I've been running and what I've found to work well:

1. My booster has been a level 86 prot pally using Singular. I have 2 other accounts that are RAF'ed together, and they were leveled to 11 each using Kick's before I started dungeoning. I have the booster fly the character to the dungeon using a 2-person mount and he summons the third character.
2. I've been earning anywhere from 1-2 levels per dungeon clear below 60 and about .75-1 level above 60. I very rarely hit the dungeon timer and when I do, it's usually due to half the dungeon randomly reseting, so it clears faster than usual.
3. I DO NOT have 3 HB keys. I only use HB to control the booster, the other 2 I turn on PQR and move them when I need to move them. I tried for a few hours using the follower profiles and they never worked well for me. Luckily with almost all the dungeons, you don't need to move the RAF characters too far from the dungeon instances.
4. I turn on looting on one character and loot all boe's and random crap to that character. Once the bags are full, I turn on looting on another character and fill up their bags. When all 3 characters bags are full, I go repair and put all the BOE's on the AH. I have made upwards of 20k doing this, which is a little less than questing to 90, but that's ok.
5. I don't do anything AFK, but these profiles were never meant to be AFK. If you don't want to babysit, this method of leveling isn't for you.

These are the problems I run into in each profile:

1. Wailing Caverns works amazing. I wouldn't change anything about this profile.
2. Blackfathom Deeps, there's a murloc at the first pool that the booster should pull. At the starting levels of this profile, that murloc can sometimes aggro and kill the RAF characters. Other than that, great profile.
3. Razorfen Kraul is great as well. Only thing I would change is there is one Quilboar that the profile misses always. It's on the path up to the bosses that are split onto 2 platforms. On the left in the first platform, the bot doesn't move in close enough to pull that quilboar in the first hut.
4. Razorfen Downs, don't change a thing. This was great when this profile was added.
5. In Blackrock Depths, the booster will sometimes get stuck on the tables in the East Garrison. a simple jump will fix the stuck, but the pathing here could use some work. I use a Tauren character, so this may be part of it, but my character will get stuck every other time I run the profile.
6. UBRS, there are several several issues. Sometimes the booster will not hold the tower long enough that spawns the adds before the fire boss. If that happens, the profile bugs and you have to reset it. During the Rend fight, the third wave of adds don't get pulled, and you have to wait for them to finally aggro onto the tank. It would be nice to have the tank clear the egg room for the Leeroy title as well, but that's more of a request than a gripe.
7. Hellfire Ramparts, the second boss isn't being killed. I thought the profile was going to be changed to make it so that boss gets killed as well. The last few attempts I tried, the last boss wasn't getting pulled or killed either. All the first 5 or so packs should be killed before the long kite begins. Sometimes those mobs will reset, come back and kill the RAF characters.
8. Blood Furnace, during the second boss, the pathing was changed here. Sometimes the tank will miss the third pack because the pathing is moving the tank near the bosses door and the mobs will run and kill the RAF characters. The pathing should keep the booster near the first door instead of second door. When that third pack gets missed, the pathing breaks again and the dungeon has to be reset.

The rest of the profiles work great and don't need any changing.

The initial release of Symbiotic will not support dungeon quest. Once we are satisfied that everything is working as intended, dungeon quest support will be added. The profiles are currently being written with quest support intended in the future.
 
Blackrock Spire will now include all of UBRS and 90% of LBRS. Approximately 45 minute runtimes.
 
Decided to add LBRS to the Blackrock Spire profile. That set us back a bit, but it is finally done. Tomorrow is a new day and RAF's will be able to fly, greatly simplifying things.
 
I know this is still under dev and you guys might take another pass before release. I got too excited and tried the early profiles.

Deadmines works damn well and I have to say I am very impressed! It was really cool to see it switch profiles on auto and hearth mid instance to make the switch. Muy bien!

BFD, I had some problems tho (alliance):

Travel to - got frozen at the booster, rutheran village.

Got other errors on rafs. Loading tiles b.s.. got a "not on continent" error one time on the steps leading down to the cavern before BFD instance.

Once we all got to the instance, booster ran the pulls fine, but isn't tagging the rafs to move up, or the pulls are not getting killed in range (zero xp) after the booster swims under pool within the instance. Rafs stay at the quest giver group the whole time.

There was a new release out yesterday that might be contributing to issues. I noticed some odd errors loading profiles (no appropriate profile for toon error). Fixed by selecting a different profile file then choosing the one I really wanted, or exiting / entering instance before loading.

But again, things worked smoothly with the deadmines profile and the new HB.

Very exciting work.

I think I'm going to load a clean previous release of HB to see if the results are similar.

Thats because Wigglez decided to blind code some stuff there after we had left and forgot to add the tag back in lol. They are supposed to get tagged and move up to the beach.

Edit: But I did the same thing, I blind coded the movement through the cave and to the instance after we left there. I have to go back and test that the tags in the cave are working.
 
  • Important:

    Users that have the Cataclysm Expansion can stop the bots at level (77) and change to the [QO-N][80-83]_blackrock-caverns profile.

    Doing so will greatly increase XP/hr and decrease leveling time between levels (77-80) !!!

    Otherwise, the bots will continue until level 80 in Halls of Lightning.
