Transferring gold from alt to main

Ok, I used to use Gatherbuddy a lot.
After about 2 or 3 days of farming, I had made around 4.5k. I needed to get this money from my bank alt to my main. Now, my main was in my raiding guild, but my alt has it's own banking guild.
I eventually ended up mailing 4.5k to my main, and got banned permanently for the whole "Economy Exploitation". I ended up making up some lie and getting my account back 4-5 months later.

Now, I am just looking for the best, and most efficient way to get my now 15k from my Alt to my Main but they are in the same conditions.
Stuck between a rock and a hard place :P Help pl0x. haha

And no, I will not use a middleman. I don't trust anyone else at the moment.
 
Would be interested in geting people's feedback on this, im in the same situation. 20k sat on one char/account wanting to send to my main/other account, was thinking about logging both on at the same time and doing a face to face trade?

Either that or get my main to post something on the AH for 20k then getting my alt to buy it?
 
for larget amounts of gold i use a wow trail account move the gold to that account then move it to my main and delete the trail char i used to mail the gold with for smaller amounts (anything less then 5k) i just trade my main that works for me but take it with a grain of salt

You mean you use a vanilla account not a trial account ;p
 
Kinda related to this,

I've just hit 80 on my botting account (yay, go me, thanks HB!) and am starting to gather mats now. My main account that I'm not botting on has my professions on that I can do stuff with, is it ok to send gathered mats from my botting account to my main account or am I risking my main account being locked even though I'm not botting on it?
 
The whole thing is, I don't have 2 accounts.... My 2nd account got banned from GB's first banwave. Now what? If I had two accounts, Id be in for it, but I don't....
 
If both characters are on the same account, then just use in-game mail...

Thats how I got banned in the first place. I mailed a lot through in-game mail and got banned for Economy Exploitation.
 
That wasn't the reason, I promise you. Plenty of people transfer much more than 15k on a regular basis, myself included. The gold is already on your account. Chances are you were first banned for botting (generally the descriptions in ban mails are vague). If you get banned again while transferring to another character, I will personally buy you Vanilla, BC and WotlK and hand level whatever class you want to 80 and kit you out in Full 251 gear. This is how confident I am.

I would do that if my main wasn't already in full 277 xD
I think once I make the gold, I will just transfer it through the AH. Sure itll cost me like 2g to post the auction, but that is nothing when it is in such a huge amount. Just get my main to put of something actually worth money for like 15k on the AH, Get my alt to buy it, and then just mail it back to my main.
 
You're forgetting the AH cut, plus that looks weirder in blizzard logs than actually sending the gold in a normal way..

5% AH cut on 15k would mean 750g to transfer the 15k or after the fees it would be 14.25k. I don't know how safe this method is. I have never used it.
 
Same account fine to use in game mail TBH but if worried put the gold in your alts GB tell your guild you need to leave for what ever a reason for like 10 mins join your alts guild take it out /gquit and then ask your guild to reinvite now thats just for the tin foil hat wears ^^ I have personally sent 10k on 3 or 4 seperate occasions between alts in the last few days
