Hi together,

after xfox posted his HB Hotspot Collector. Here is another standalone Tool...
And thanks to Tony for checking the Source.

It is a list of (hopefully) all available quests atm, with the Quest-ID and a button to create corresponding Ignore-XML.

All in all not much but it works fine for me and so i try to share.
All Quests are stored inside the program, so no internet connection is needed.

[1.01] It is possible to transfer quetst to the official BlackList-Site of TOM__. It will just transfer the Quest-ID and the Quest-Name to the Website. You must enter a reason and your username. This is just because no one should transfer all quests ;-)....

[near 1.1] Loading the XML from official Blacklistsite: unfortunately it is not possible to load the XML directly from my application [please don't ask me why i'm not allowed to do it....]. So in the Zip file you will find a HB2 plugin: "FryLoader". Copy this file to your Plugin Folder. Activate it, press the button, and the XML File will be downlaoded to your HB2 Directory. Then Copy the file to the folder where the program is located, and hit the "load" Button. C# is not my programming language, and this is the first time i wrote a plugin, if someone has any additions or better ways, please drop me a line.

[near 1.1] Adding blacklisted Quests to a Profile: This is really beta, please backup your profile before using this function. unfortunately the profile parsing and writing is not as easy as it could be, but it's working for me. If something dosn't work, please drop me a line with your profile and the quests you blacklisted.

Update 27.05.2010:
1. It is possible to add the selected blacklisted quests to an profile. To do this: blacklist the quests, then click the button "Add to Profile". The profile will be loaded and the quests will be added to the Profile. - read the Info above!
2. It is possible to load the blacklisted quests from the "Official Blacklist-Website" - read the Info above

Looks nice.

Though you?ll have to contact Tony so he can review the source code.
 
Cool program, but wouldn't it be odd for someone making a profile without an internet connection?

It look's like a amazing release mate :) but is it possible to make this app download all the blacklisted quest's from the TOM__ website so when you open this app it auto load's a .XML file into your bot folder and start's downloading all the blacklisted quest's and store's them in the .XML? or is it impossible to do?

just because im too lazy to find all the blacklisted quest's on this webby and storing them into the .XML file and i have alot of RL issue's to sort out :)

Have you looked at http://www.buddyforum.de/showthread.php?4708-Official-Hb2-Bugged-Quests-report-thread there is a link to TOM__'s Website, at the top there is a link "Blacklist" -> there is the complete Blacklist (in XML). As far is i know, you must include the BlackList Tags inside your profile, so i must load your profile and try to parse it and so on. The Tool was created to simplify the search for exact Quest-Name and Quest-ID. But i will think about it ;-)

The Tool dosn't create a .XML. It just creates the needed XML in the Memo, after that you must copy it and paste it into your profile.

New Features: Load XML from Tom__ and Adding blacklisted quests to profile.

dont get me wrong this tool is great but when the new release of questing is out, this tool will be useless due to all the quest's being default backlisted and the quests you want and can do you will have to whitelist them.
 
Main has access to the whitelist-tool. Won't be so hard to just click all working quests, would it?

don't get me wrong. This Tool has a list of all Quests. You select quests. You press a button, the Tool generates some XML-Code you could copy and paste it into your profile or use the new "add to profile" Feature. The only difference between blacklisting and whitlelisting is : [really don't know i the whitelist part is implemented in this form...]

never thought of it that way lol but i thought a tool simular to your release was getting released along with the new beta or inbuilt into the core of HB or i could be wrong.

Don't know when the next beta will come, but atm i can live with my tool, and if it is build into HB directly it is much better ;-)

Fry is it possible to extract all the quest's from zygor's addon guide and build them into your tool so it whitelist's all zygor's quest's? then start blacklisting the quest's that HB wont be able to do in future release? or will it be to hard and time consuming? :)
