Hi

i bot since ~October 2012 my main finished paragon 100 end of november didn got banned on 12/18 ~13-24h per day 7 days per week (90-100 nearly 20h per day)
my 3 bots which also ran since october but also even after end of november got banned ~5-10h per day not 7 days per week (banned on max paragon 50)

main and bots were on a selfmade non stuck waypoint based act 3 run all same pc all same ip all trinity classes different
bot accs were from friends who quited d3 and did not have any use for them (former D3 active some month and a lot WoW activity on that accounts)

3 days after banwave i bought 6 new accs all random names from a fake name generator + 6 non registrated keys (atm)
all wizards (<3 archon bots) all using YAR all non waypoint based high cpu useage act 3 profiles (3 profiles made a shity start xml with a roll 1-3 which prof should be loaded) and leveled by some dudes i ran after for 3-4h paying them 6-9m.

4 bots run on pc 2 on notebook all 24/7 and all reached 100 2-3 weeks ago (without any XP gear gem or so) by botting 24/7 giving gold every 100m to a mule and items like the ice climbers i found (600m sold) and everything else above 150m vaue to a mule by dropping on the floor

And nothing happend on 01/12 as many people say here in the forums you can bot 10h per day and get banned

I first thought they will get banned very very soon kept 6 licenses to bot after the 1st 6 got banned but ... they are still online

So i dont think blizzard has a good method to detect "us" they just ban a noticeable amount of botters but not a huge amount compared to users it is just a big number because of a banwave.

Think about: Why are they saying
"According to Blizzard?s internal logs, the records show that an unauthorized third party program was detected when the account logged into the game server. Upon review of the IP logs for the account, Blizzard has discovered that the IP matches the customer?s normal play location. Additionally, several in-game tests were performed by Blizzard?s Account Administration team that showed that the character actions on the account were automated by a third party application."

and dont even ban the 24/7 streight botters? Just luck?
I dont think blizzard is dumb as fuck but i think that they dont really care that much about it. Banning 24/7 botters would be VERY easy but they dont do.
If they WOULD detect there would be more bans and 24/7 botting wont be an alternative.
Fresh accs botting streight to paragon 100 24/7 are alive where as long active wow accs and some month active d3 accs get banned with not even HALF of the playtime as my current its randomness.

I botted years at wow and even there i hat for example 4 bots 18h 7 Days per week with non human offline times like "after 3 hours offline for 10-30min" with Arelog and all accs reached 400+ DAYS of botting vashir without a ban.

And in WoW my 24/7 bots all got banned quick (maybe because of tickets and high amount of AH postings)
Where as D3 bans seem kind a random to me too less for detection in anyway i bet there are many 24/7 guys on these forum who survived 12/18 and 01/12.

its just my exp. i made here and all i can say : "just dont care about it"

I am not sure what your post is about, I scour it for good info and can't find much there. This however in the qu0te, if it doesn't answer some questions as to why no bans, ya need to rethink.

I love the tinfoil random name generator... that's best one I heard in long time.

how bliz ban 3k bots in one day, they detected the actions made by the bot, maybe not the bot, maybe not the items, but the behavior actions were a dead give away = detected somewhere. Saying the 3k ban was a blind ban, that they managed that without any detection is bad logic.

What needs to be done is we need an easier way to alter/change/randomize profiles..

Also making profiles seems overly complicated.

Simplifying that and reducing the number of people using the exact same profile im sure will help.

my 1st post:

From my experience in d2 botting, Blizz looking through process lists via dump files is totally within the realm of possibility... Many things are possible for how they identify us.

One thing is certain ban though: CD keys from 3rd parties.

Blizz like to make the $ here. Not to mention that 3rd party sites sell the keys they once used to spam general chat etc.

Legit CD keys have always been good protection in Diablo botting.

sorry but that's bullshit...

Haha ok have fun with your preflagged keys then :eyeroll:

Scammers getting scammed by itemsites? Say it isnt so??!!!!

is it just me or do other people find it really hard to read op post?

sorry but that's bullshit...

Agreed.

These site's didn't just shit out the CD keys. A lot of the sites purchase bulk copies when they're on sale or direct from distributor. Blizzard still makes their money lol.
