crashes 1-2 times every hour. absolutley ridiculous


and since it crashes so much i tried ARelog but it wont choose routine and it loots greys while botting and it bugs out and stops in town for some reason

good thing we got another thread up acknowledging there is a issue with crashes. I almost did not realize it....
 
but we dont need more threads about it we know its crashing DB team knows its crashing they are working on it they want you to post in the release thread with logs of the crash so they can help locate whats causing it. Crying like a little bitch in the forums about a know issue thats getting worked on isnt going to fix it any faster.

I wish i was watching my cpu better when it happens. It does happen alot and its not very consistent in terms of when it happens its just random. I feel that it occurs more the more plugins i have though.
 
running newest and have had 0 crashes in 2 days.
win7 64 bit

started with 215 fresh install and let it update itself each time since then

Doubt it. People with 220 and fresh instals don't even do that. Post your setup / plugins / time played

he ran over 6 hours last night and I had to shut my computer off, nothing to do with db
and has been running since 6am this morning.
 
i got the same sparky and i crash randomly. sometimes several times per hour. others once every 3-4 hours
 
I erased demon buddy, downloaded it again, and stopped using addons and I have zero problems.
 
There are an increasing number of "the bot sux.omfg" threads showing up so I just wanted to clear up a couple things. It is now common practice that when something isn't 100% plug and play (as apposed to DB which is 99% PnP) that everytime something goes wrong its the bots fault.

It's not the bot's fault.

There are plenty of us who have been running this program perfectly since the updates after patch. It is absolutley 100% user error. It took me a good day to figure out what i screwed up but i figured it out. You may have missed a plugin update / you have a new pllugin that isn't compatible with an old one / the patch reset some default setting in a profile that you need to readjust. There are literally DOZENS of possibilities, the BOT is NOT the issue believe me. Ignore your urge for instant gratification and go through the common sense pratcice after any program is patched ever...

1.) Even if you think everything is up to date, re-download and replace all plugin, quest, and combat routine files ( keep YOUR config files those are not necessary to replace)
2.) Do a FRESH install of the program if the auto-update and step one did not work.
_____ a.) Make a new folder, download the fresh install to that folder.
_____ b.) Copy over all plugins/quests/routines/config files (up to date of course)
3.) Check ALL your settings. 99% of the time it's something small you changed to try and fix something and then forgot you change it.

If you are having serious problems with the bot PM me your bot setup (plugins, quests, routines, any auto-reloggers) and OS and I will do my best to help you. I'm no talking out of my ass so don't hesitate. But seriously give the "DB is unstable" posts a rest your just giving a bad name to a great program.

You dont think people already do all of that? There are plenty of guys who re-download everything and do everything fresh and are still experiencing crashes.

I didnt say that, but my statement stands your still missing something. It may be something small but blaming on these guys who are working their tails off to deliver a program that IS 100% PnP is unfair. Its not the bot. If its messing up its something you can fix on your end, thats all im saying,

nah...did a fresh install with 0 plugins but still crashing after an hour or 2. pretty random.
