what exactly do you mean by "dont leech" ?

i will at least invest money.. how could that be leeching ?

DB is community based, if you are going to leech(just downloading shit and dont post, help or create something) so be it.
 
lol hey guys don't be mean! he legit wants information about DB and possibly wants to switch over. His financial support of DB + possibly of plugins/profiles is good enough in my opinion ;)
 
Btw bro why dont u just chargeback from Hellbuddy team just write some shit and u have prove site offline etc so chance u will get chargeback is huge give it a shot
 
Guys, have you some guaranties that DB will not shutdown their servers as well as HB did in few days? Blizzard may ask them to do the same thing.

:D Yeah sure, i mean why have they sued honorbuddy and why did they file an injunction vs DB if they can just tell Bossland to shut everything down?
Hellbuddy have probably made alot of money and they probably feel that fighting for the bot isnt worth the hassle. Well Bossland do believe that both honorbuddy and DB is something worth fighting for.
 
I think the creators of Hellbuddy are on "profit, then move to the next big thing" policy. They probably moved/preparing for GW2 or something, d3 is slowly/quickly dieing, except for us die hard botters =).

forseek, you obviously don't pay attention to anything going on in the botting world.

blizzard asked DB to shutdown over 1 month ago, DB stopped selling it and wrote that they will appeal in court, they appealed in court, and put up the new versions as soon as they were able. they're not pussies like HB.
 
Hellbuddy was great, didn't have to do anything. Just run the program and it would start diablo, login, load the profile. Didn't even have to change settings or profiles when an update was released.

# lets say your forum (main way of getting infos) goes down for whatever reason.. what other communication channels do i have to get infos (irc, twitter, backup info channels ?)

# does anyone have proofable or comprehensible information about the "helbuddy situation" ?


i am totally new to botting in general, but i like the szene/subculture and the concept/idea of botting, or at least my version of it.
guess i have to invest some work into runescape botting ;) till i am sure about the state of hellbuddy.. if its down for good ill go demonbuddy.

There is irc, facebook(even the personal Page of the owner), twitter by multiple devs, Skype by many mods(got like 5mods in my skype list.)

They have a complete "nothing to hide policy" and they are refunding anyone who wants a refund and lives in Germany. (those are the poor guys who can't use it because of the injunction.)

Totally agree that this is quite likely what has happened.

At least with DB, the people behind it, have a long and proven history of excellent bot creation and support.

DB is probably more for those that like to tinker, create, problem solve. It's not really a plug-and-play bot but, even if you aren't the type that is willing to put in the time to do it for yourself, there are plenty on here who have put together guides, profiles, loot rules, and the like, to enable you to get your bot up and running without too much trouble. And you can always ask for help. Not all of us are sarcastic, cryptic or rude :)

HB = Honorbuddy or HellBuddy
DB = Demonbuddy or DungeonBuddy

so when you say something like.
"The HB mods where being secretive."

people can interpret it Both ways so please stop using shorthand so people who arent up to snuff on all the lingo can tell what the hell is going on.

This needs a sticky and a banner notification below "Demonbuddy is on sale again".
 
The only thing that makes me sad, is less competition. Not that the BuddyTeam isnt already promising, but competition in a market always drives to make people strive to do better. They have always provided awesomeness though, so I dont think this has a big impact there.
