Try this. It's gonna be in the next official release, but I want you to test it first.
It's like what I wrote in the changelog:
Now some explanations: Bombardment seems to be working against trash mobs, but you have to set your 'Minimum Trash Mob Pack Size' (Settings->Combat->Misc) and 'Bombardment AoE Count' (Settings->Combat->Crusader) in a logical manner. So, for example, if you set your trash mob slider to 5, make sure bombardment aoe count is also 5. Another important thing you should do is go to Settings->Combat->Misc and set 'Trash Pack Cluster Radius' to something like 55. The bombardment code checks for clusters of trash mobs and if that slider is set to something too low it'll never find, say, 15 trash mobs inside a 10 yard radius.
Also note that if you have the 'Wait for convention element' option checked (and by the way, this option only works if you meet the IsBombardmentBuild criteria), it may take a while before the convention element syncs with bombardment's cooldown when you're facing a cluster of trash mobs.
IsBombardmentBuild is defined by: Having Belt of the Trove AND The Mortal Drama equipped on your character or in the cube, having Bombardment in your skillbar, and NOT having Punish in your skillbar. If you don't follow that than none of this will work.
So keep all of that in mind and test away. Have fun
