First of all I'd like to thank all the CC authors for your hard work, it is much appreciated.

If I may, I'd like to make a suggestion: Please build into your CCs code to stop all CC movement while the user has any of the movement keys pressed. It is my experience that some type of manual override is needed in case the bot get's confused or stuck or otherwise looks very bottish.

One may argue that all one has to do is stop the bot, but this takes too much time allowing other players to see too much strange behavior or otherwise causing problems.

Maybe this isn't much of an issue for those that grind completely automatically, I don't know, but for those of us that only use the bots for auto fighting with MrAutoFight this is really important.

Thanks
Al

any CC coders feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I doubt a CC has (or should have) any hooks to detect keypresses.
Hence why there are plugins like MrAutofight to disable all HB movement.

Some CC's (shamwow for example) have a config switch to tell it to NOT perform any movement functions.
But that has to be set and will be valid until the stop button is pressed.. To my knowledge there is no function that traps keypresses
and as such auto'magically' stops movement by the cc.

there is a plugin where if you press H or something, it will stop HB i believe (or there used to be)

Used to be. The author removed the newest one, so all that's left is the old one that doesn't work. :(

MrAutoFight only disables non-combat movement. If the CC has movement checks built-in (ie. healing range) MrAutoFight does not disable those. And the plugin would stop the bot altogether, which he specifically states is not an option. I really don't understand why some people respond to threads only to provide useless information, or say that something can't/won't be done.

Adding a check to disable CC movement (similar to ShamWOW and other CCs) will accomplish what is being asked for. And it's possible that it could be activated by pressing a keybind. However, getting the CC devs to program something like this is probably low on their priority list. But it never hurts to ask though.

Honestly, I would pay for a bot that does absolutely NOTHING but trigger the CC. Yes, loading a dummy profile with certain bots can achieve this at times, however, it never fails, the bot tries to take over and move for itself, or do silly other things. Yes, MrAutofight works, but it seems to have major delays before triggering the CC, can't have that.

I was hoping a CC author would confirm or deny this.

Would someone please update this plugin they talked about?

I'll bet there's a lot of people that would like to see this "semi-automatic" mode improved, it's certainly A LOT safer. I suppose one only needs to look at the number of downloads of MrAutoFight to get an idea.

Do I have to do a poll or something?

there is no way to override movement, trust me ive looked into it. several different ways. CC's arent run at all times, a CC would need to open up another thread in order to use keyboard hooks properly, and even then i doubt it would work with the override well. if one could be made. its a non-starter. and not worth integrating into every CC

just a small suggestion wouldnt it be possible to integrate this option into honorbuddy rather than the cc itself?

maybe, but at this point it would be very very low on priority for things that need to be done.

understandable i can see that there are things of greater priority.

I just didn't bother uploading it anymore since I thought nobody was using it anyways.
I attached a updated version

Thank you very much! I think your plugin could work very well for what I want to do.

I have used it for a bit and have noticed something a bit odd. It appears to be quite sensitive to how long it takes me to hit the key. If I hit the key just a little too long it looks like it's doing it twice or more, at least I get 2 messages on screen and the bot doesn't stop or restart. If I make a conscious effort to tap the key quickly it will work fine.

I hope that's something that's easy to fix and would really appreciate it. Maybe it's that stuff about "Thread.Sleep(100)" in the cs file and/or something I can and should tweak for my hardware?

highvoltz, any chance you can help me with that little issue I mentioned previously?
