To be honest, I think they should not announce honorbuddy updates on this forum anymore for security purposes... It is easy enough for us to load up WOW then load HB to check to see if there has been an update.

If Blizzard is truly watching these forums then announcing our updates to the enemy is truly a mistake. I for one am OK with loading HB when I get home to see if there has been an update or not instead of waiting for something on forums to pop up.

Definitely not trying to start anything here. Just putting pieces together and it makes sense.
 
Blizzard could just as easily do what you are suggesting. Load up their HB account.

With that said they also have a lot of fixes in testing as of the last hotfix post from blizzard so even if they put it out right now, blizzard could be right around the corner from releasing the next hotfixes. It's always like this after a new big patch.

Yes, this is the first time ever honorbuddy has been down after a ptach, and the first time ever all of us have logged into wow right after bot is up. We're all doomed now.

Ya that last part is true. Besides I was high when I wrote this. Like I said wasn't trying to start anything. Had a high moment and was driving around.
 
Lol I get those ^ ^. Seriously though, I didn't fire up HB right away because I had a feeling Blizz wasn't done. They never really are. Plus, I wanted to make sure HB users didn't log in and get insta-banned lol.

Haha ya. I'm playing diablo 3 until honorbuddy is back up. Seems cool so far. Pretty basic though.. Not sure if there is a point to the game yet haha

Foot in mouth disease. Your heart is in the right place n all but think a bit more before you post. You don't think blizzard has its own honorbuddy keys? You think they'd rather pay someone to troll the forums or click the bot a few times a day as you just suggested we do?

Yea... Next idea?

How's about private forums and x64 client? Make things harder for them instead of easier :p

look, they pushed it out, but we cant know what blizzard is up to, its not like he knew that they where going to push out a patch.
 
I guess blizzard is just salty because Bossland GmbH won the lawsuit against them, and now it appears that they are making desperate measures in order to pursue a vendetta against Bossland GmbH, and surely HB devs are aware of that, and they are working accordingly to avoid such things. All hail HB!. ;p

Stop making stupid posts like this. They patched the game because it was 2 days after a major patch and they were fixing bugs. It has absolutely nothing to do with catching HB or any other bot.

Blizz has never in the history of WoW released a patch specifically to catch botters and they never will.

Yes, it's unfortunate that the bot was patched an hour before the game was, but that's how it goes sometimes. Especially after a major patch.

OT:

No seriously, threads like these are a joke. It makes no different at all if there are public posts as to 'when' there will be an HB update because:

1. There will ALWAYS be updates. This bot is never, ever going away.
2. Stupid people like you OP will still think that Blizzard is 'strategically' sending out updates in order to delay HB.. what... a couple of hours LOL? No, in reality there are always tons of little hotfixes after a big update (ex 6.2). Just like there are always noobs like you who need reasons to post stupid threads like these.

Also I'd like to mention that HB update progression is always behind Blizzard's. It's not the other way around. So it would make NO difference what-so-ever if HB started hiding their updates. The same way it would make NO difference if Blizzard did. Blizzard won't do that though because what playerbase wants to be kept in the dark as to when new content will be released? They've told players since the dawn of Azeroth when updates will be released. They won't stop now.
