To all the new people coming to XIV, do NOT forget this:

The game has an auto-afk feature activated by default, make sure you disable it.
(bot will keep doing his little business while you're displayed as AFK which is impossible for a normal player)

Press escape:

Moving or simply clicking somewhere in the game window clears your AFK status automatically but bots do not.
Having your bot running around doing FATEs, or gathering while AFK is a sure way to get a ton of reports.

So far Square-enix doesn't give a fuck about reports/bots/anything, but we don't know when/if that'll ever change. So as usual, bot smart and stay safe.

We've had a patch for this in Reornbuddy since this feature was added to the game. I am unable to replicate the bot being marked as afk on any of my machines.

Yep, just this afternoon I finished 100% fate grinding every single DoW and DoM class in under a month non-stop. Never turned this off, and never had a problem either.
