default settings for me can clear 68-70 with 930k dps and 38m toughness. i think the bot has only ever died once. feels a bit slow sometimes so i'm sure it would be a lot quicker with modified settings

Because just as dkbuddy said, there is no settings that need to be changed. The only thing that will benefit default settings is changing pack size to 5.

Get the right gear, get the right spec, change one setting and go...That's all the guide you need and the other threads even mention this.

If you're having problems, you either have the wrong gear, the wrong spec, or your settings are messed up from previous use. Do a fresh install of DB, Trinity and Adventurer and start the bot up.
