Hi Guys
Well after scouring the forums and trying everything I saw I am having no luck getting this bird to fly.

I finally completely formatted and re-installed 64bit windows 7
Installed all windows updates
Ran the Buddy Prequisites Wizard, unzipped and ran as admin.
Ran windows update again

So far all is good

Now I start WOT from the WOT folder as admin

Then I unzip TankLeader 2.0.229.91 to desktop as admin

Then I run the Tankleader app as admin

So far all is still good, I add a scout tank in the garage window and then go to main menu.

The button for start is a darker grey and highlights when I pass the mouse over it

The settings button below it is visible but white and not clickable.

I press start and snap it locks, it will sit there all day and I cant click or do anything with it but kill it with task manager.

Task manager shows it using 80-90% of the CPU while it is locked. I have waited for over an hour just to see if it would finally go.

Attached is my last log

remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the installationwizard from here
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

Well, I gave it a whirl...
I rebooted
Uninstalled all net frame and C++
Rebooted
I ran installationwizard as admin
I rebooted
I ran windows update
I rebooted
I ran windows update again (there were 2 updates to the updates)
I rebooted
I started WOT and TL2 both as admin
Here is the log

-----------------------------------------
When I clicked start it did not say on my screen start/stop clicked it was an instant freeze (that only shows in the log) And that "graceful" shutdown was courtesy of task manager.

Between the group of four of us playing with this we have tried a total of 9 computers and all with the exact same results. The only common thing between them is amazingly all are windows 7. The guy who introduced us to TL2 also has a win7 machine and his runs flawlessly since day one. I hate him.....

Anybody wanna drive this box remotely and take a ***** at it? My second key is about to expire and I grow tired of the battle.

hey!

If it still is not working try to change World of Tanks to run in windowed mode, TL2 was locking up for me when I hit start but now it works fine :D

Let me know :D

Well I tried in window format instead of fullscreen with no change, I also went from version 2.0.229.91 up to 234.94 with ni difference in results. Then I out of sheer desperation went back to netframe 4.5 and tried both versions again, as soon as I hit start the party is over. At this point I have 5 days and about 30+ hours and 4 different machines tied up in this effort with no results at all. I have been told repeatedly to try version 1 but I have no idea where to find that so at this point I'll have to call this an albatross effort and give....

If any of you TL2 guru's would like to take a ***** at it i'm not past putting up remote assistance and letting you have a shot at it, or even shipping my spare notebook to whoever thinks they can get it to fly. It looks interestering and I really did try but I still look like a monkey humping a football here.

Thanks!

Used it for initial install, then uninstalled net and c= and used it again as admin, then ran win updates, still no joy......

Is it just freezing?

What of did:
- open wot and change wot to window mode
- some anti virus will this it is a virus. So disable that for now.
- open TL2
- hit login
- i find it is 50/50 with dual screen but always works when in front of wot window
- it then logs in and says installation complete and i am able to use it.

-if you can see it has logged successfully and can use the tabs on top of it then there is a different issue. If it still. Freezes I can not think of what to do next.

Let us know if it helps. :-)

I make it to main screen, can use tabs, I add any tank or arty or combo of them and then go to main screen and hit start, it is supposed to say start/stop button pressed when I do that but it does not, the second I hit start it's over and only program manager can close it.

That's weird. Are you running .NET 4.5 or 4.0? And which version of Windows?

Also, make sure World of Tanks is windowed and not full screen.

Deleted 4.0 and C++
rebooted
Ran DemonBuddy as admin and reinstalled both
rebooted
ran windows updates
rebooted
started WOT in windowed mode as admin, then TL2 as admin
loaded a tank and clicked start, TL2 froze again, left it for a while then closed with program manager

That CPU is ancient. I've no experience running TankLeader on CPUs that slow, it may actually be the bottleneck here.

Yes it's a bit dated. 3 machines here, this one, a dual core and a quad core all with the same windows 7 build installed. All with the same problem. I did not want to tie up either of the higher end machines botting so I picked this one. It runs WOT between 18-24 frames a second ok, and it ran TL1 just fine not that long ago.

I will get this going yet, as of 3 hours ago I switched my efforts to the quad core with 16 gig of ram, still trying....

Well I have the same issue on the dual core and the quad core, except for the hardware the logs seem identical. I have scoured the forums repeatedly and tried everything I or anyone else can think of, to no avail. It is frustrating having a lifetime key I can't use.

I am looking at a new quad windows 8 machine.... Will TL2 function on 8?

By the way for what it' worth, after I have added tanks and hit start the CPU goes to 100% in task manager and stays there. Fans start screaming and I have never seen anything use that kind of CPU indefinitely while doing nothing. Eventually I have to use task manager to kill the tree or the program and the whole machine is lagged while I do that.

Buying a new machine is no guarantee that it'll work on it. I'm quite .. disturbed by the fact that it starts to use that much CPU; it should never ever do that whatsoever, unless it's the Celeron - they're notorious for not being capable of doing anything. Can I by chance have a look through TeamViewer on your machine at some point to see if we can figure this one out?
