Constantly having problems with Honor Buddy. Use fresh install and still having problems with just using normal BG Buddy. Honestly everytime i start honorbuddy i have to cross my fingers hoping its going to do what i want that day. Right now its a problem with loading tile's in just BG's. This is something so standard i shouldnt be having problems! Honestly if its a problem with singular, SIMPLIFY SINGULAR! FFS Let the people who know how to make Routines do it. Very unhappy customer! Honestly BG Buddy shouldnt be something i have to worry about not working. Gatherbuddy and BG Buddy are the 2 i should expect to work 100%. You cant even do that. Why did i pay you? I cant even get a good night sleep cause i have to wake up to check on my bot every hour or wake up disappointed that the bot stopped at 300 honor gained >.<

They already said, that they are working on fixing it.

If you're that upset that they are having a few issues atm. Code a bot yourself.
 
we shouldn't have to code it ourselves because we paid for it, it's worth every bit of money
 
Come on guys, MOP is just released, things have changed, the honorbuddy team needs time to fix issues and problems just have some time...
 
Sheesh, yall need to relax we are all upset that it is working perfectly yet. We all paid for it as well, the Devs are working on it give them some slack its takes more then a week or 2 to get it running perfectly.

NO cause the Honorbuddy team has had Months to iron this out, Beta, PTR, Live didnt even have to update we all just went right over to pandaria. This is unacceptable if Honorbuddy was a waiter id walk out without tipping.
 
I've had HB for almost a month, and honestly, I've had the same problems since the start.


I've posted all the logs; and only gotten generic "We'll look into it"

It's quite annoying, just like right now, Using quest bot, and it's sitting at a flight path, even though I don't have it set to use flight paths.
 
Been using HB for 2 years now, BG buddy is working fine for me So Is gatherbuddy, True it crashes sometimes when I load a profile but that's not a big deal, I think people should get that stick out of there arse and just relax they are working around the clock to try and get it up and running, after 2 days of release grindbot/bgbuddy/gatherbuddy all worked fine I even maxed out archeo with it yesterday. I'm pretty happy with all of there progress.
 
They do have lives as well you know, they shouldn't have to do 24 hour day jobs to keep you happy.. heck even the chinese gold farmers dont do that..

Yeah, BGBuddy does need some modifications and improvements. I'm sure they're working on ironing out the issues and polishing it up at this very moment though.
 
While I do understand the frustration, creating such a complicated program as Honorbuddy is no walk in the park. Everyone is aware that software is created by humans, humans need sleep and personal time. Also, you are totally unaware of what MoP actually changed to the game. It's highly possible that the Buddy team almost had to start from scratch again. If thats the case, it's actually quite impressive.
 
I just think that they should be a little bit more informative about what's going on. We are sort of in the dark. We know that there is a server problem. We know they are trying to fix it. That's all. We haven't had news for some days, we don't know how bad is the problem, we don't have ETAs, and even if ETAs can't be given, at least a negative ETA like "it won't be fixed in the next 2-3 days for sure", etc, etc.

I wish there were more news. That's all.

I'm all for the improvement of the bot and I know it takes time. I've waited for demonbuddy injuction, didn't chargeback/asked for a refund. I can be patient. I just don't like being ignored.
 
Can we please stop with these QQ threads? I don't understand why people think they are entitled to "know whats going on" because they paid a few dollars for HB. Just because you are a paying customer, does not give you the right to expect the developers to hold your hand and explain everything they are doing or working on. The product is what it is... if you don't wanna use it as is, then wait for it to be completed (whenever that may be) or just stop using it and go find another wow bot. It's not like this is the only one...
 
See you probably havent had HB for longtime, Ive been with this bot when it first started after Glider went down. Its been like this for every expansion, they wrinkle the creases out till its back up to its former glory and even go the extra mile to add more and new features. Relax, sorry you cant bot 24/7 while being AFK, live with it for a little longer and trust in the Devs.
 
Honestly do you even begin to understand the time and effort it takes to make something like this? I havent done alot with programing but i have done a little and ive also done alot of circuitry and seriously when you fix one thing its quite likely you mess somthing else up it takes alot of time to debug these issues. I am also a little frustrated but its somthing you can't change and all your doing is getting everyone wound up including the delvelopers and trust me when you want a program to work you dont frustrate the programmers. sit back and chill for a while if the bot is bugging you dont use it until its fixed. Life will go on.
 
I can understand your frustration, especially if you have only started using the program recently as there have been issues more frequently (as a proportion of your total usage time) compared to for those of us who have used it for longer.

I can also see the point that the work on the bot could have started earlier, and it is unfortunate that there was either a lack of staffing or an underestimation of the work required. Although their own game may have been coded in the programmers own time (thus taking no time away from work on HB), its release at the same time may have caused some people's blood to boil. In addition, the team may not have been the best at communicating progress (a single thread with "what is not working, what is working (and since when), what we are working on fixing at the moment" to give people a sense of progress has often been suggested, as it would not take much time to update (a minute a day)).

However, despite these imperfections, real or perceived, honorbuddy is a fairly versatile program that allows for quite complex bot bases, plugins and behaviours (at least when it is working =P). Most importantly, it does so to a further extent than any other bot program out there to my knowledge.
 
Chill out man. I have been with this bot since WOTLK, it will be running perfectly again, be sure of that. It just takes some time to adapt the bot to the new expansion.

Look forward to the easiest earned money in your life!

I feel the same way, and the only quest profile writer on the HB team took 2? weeks off (he's still not back yet) during this complicated transition (that everyone knew was coming) and the HB team has not yet filled that void. Shame on the HB leadership!

Kick is back, but have RL things to do too. so ppl nee to wait.
