I'm sure we've all read Tony's post above, but does anyone else have additional info to share?

Obviously things that should be done after a ban:
  • Change IP address (flagged)
  • Consider reducing playtime for younger characters
  • Switch up grind zones

But what about things like:
  • reinstalling POE -- are there unique ID's assosciated with installs? Could there be an identifier linked to the EXE or associated files? I know almost nothing about coding, so I would believe you if you told me one way or the other.
  • Idleing in town
  • being active in chat
  • being active in parties
  • not use DND all the time

Do any of you that have long-lasting bots do any of those?

Dnd is Client Side.

Ok, any idea about some kind of unique ID in the client? Would a fresh install after ban be feasible?

The more "human" your bot acts, the less likely you will get hammered. Years of wow botting and countless bans have taught me alot of things (Example: My WoW bots all survived the last detection/banwave somehow?!) but that is the most useful tip I can give you. You have the right ideas, chat talk, friends on your list (your other bots) - think about ways to make it seem like you are sitting there grinding away. I would occasionally talk back and forth in guild chat on 2 bots. That kind of stuff works, and short of a detection, "can't hurt!"

GL/HF man!

I would talk between them too lol. And, actually, those bots did last the longest :p

2+ bots on same IP = instaban

If I plan on botting iwth only 1 account and using 1 account to manually play. I should use the BOT on a VPN and then when I want to paly normally turn off VPN. That I understand.

So you are saying, if I want to bot mulitple accounts. then both "botting" accounts need to be on separate IPs as well?

Thank you!

No, you shouldnt play the same account under different IPs, never (it'll lock the account somehow) the account has to be on the same IP like forever (exceptions are made for DynDNS providers)

You need VPNs when you multibot, not when playing a single acc.
