Time to make the forums paying users only?

A poster just admitted that he create new accounts all the time just because he is being banned for being an asshole all the time. What good comes from having ppl who aren't HB/GB users reading and posting to the forums. Maybe make one part of the forum for all payment support and that kind of issues for non payees and make the rest authenticate against the same server as the HB/GB login?

I'm getting seriously tired of all the idiot/hater posts and I don't really feel like reading anymore advertisements for glider. Am I the only one?
 
do it like glider did, make a sub-forum for paying customers only...
 
This has been talked about time and time again. Even between staff. Its probably not going to happen. So I wouldn't waste my breath.

its not a bad idea
we want our forums open
but we have to deal with what OP says

maybe there is another way,we will check it again
 
I don't understand "hardcore" forums users. I mean there is no real point in them to begin with, I suggest removing the forum entirely. If users want to share profiles or plugins, than allow an upload section on the website with a ranking function.
 
It's the community that helps make this bot so valuable in my opinion. Forums is a must.
 
Maybe you could kill google searching the forum too, seems every second time I search something about WoW there is always a forum link in the first few hits, rather unnerving especially when they are sometimes my posts.

It's the paying users with multiple accounts. The 'mutes' actually inhibit you from viewing the forum entirely, so not only can you not communicate, you can't keep up-to-date with the product you paid for.
 
More forum users, irregardless of paying or non paying users gives more user database to boss, in a biz aspect, i understand why forum is open for all.. As long as fast support is given to paying users, im fine with that
 
Just make the majority private and have a few open ones like glider
