I was watching a killvideo yesturday. I have to implement also to kill the little dragons around Aeonaxx as first target, so he must switch between Aeonaxx and the little Dragons. And there I must look if i could annull the targeting of the CCs and I don't know if the CustomClasses could handle this fight while riding on a dragon or if they just say "WTF" .
A Plugin for Aeonaxx just will mount the Mob and maybe choose the right targets. The CC must do the fight-thing.

Can I use this behavior direktly in a Plugin or just in a Profile?

I'm just a profile dev, that's more of a question for the bot devs

maybe you can get someone to make a behavior (or you, yourself) that will fly around on a path and once you find X npc, mount it and kill it

I'm testing it since yesterday evening.
This night I found something but I didnt pull it, cuase I'm a pally and I've setted Judgement.. ehmmm, I need to refresh the seal to be able to cast the judgement
so this morning I've strted it again and I found Vyragosa, I've heard the sound from NPC_Scan and I saw I didn't have the seal, I've pulled him melee, cause it's very slow.
As pala now Ive setted Hand of Reckoning and Divine Shield as slow fall ability.
I didnt found Timed Lost since this morning, so, I'll give u an update when I'll catch him

Be sure that you don't loose the aggro when you use Devine Shield, I don't know if this happens
And If you want to use a spell instead of an item as slowfall ability you have to replace the whole Line 49:
Replace: Lua.DoString("UseItemByName(\"Umhang der Dryaden\")");
With: SpellManager.Cast("Devine Shield");
Or Implement it above (Replace every Levitate with Devine Shield for example)

Test the Slowfall before going AFK, therefor simply start the Bot and then remove your Mount while flying

Please download the New Version !!!

I added some better Log-Output to monitor the failures. Now the bot also write a log if found a dead Drake and if he was in combat while the dragon appears.

and please make sure you config both Plugins write:
* Choose a Spell which is instant, ranged and do not depend on other Spells/Buffs etc
* Make sure you choose a good Slowfall Ability and config them in the Slowfall Plugin (maybe here is some script knowledge needed, but I can help you)
* Test your Slowfall ability before going AFK and make sure (If you use an Item) you have 5-10 of them in your inventory (so the bot can waste some items)
* If you need help with the configurations of the Plugins I can help you.

Just realize: This plugin is just a workaround to test if it theoretically works.
I'm writing on a Version with a nice User Interface which will be much easier to config.


Edit: I was told: Deadly Throw is the right spell for a Rogue?

Found Vyragosa today and didn't get it.

I was at class so I couldn't see what happened. Looks like it tried to pull it several times, used 3 Snowfall Lager's and died once trying.

The Plugin will do nothing if he found one of the drakes dead, but NPC-Scan will alert anyhow. I will implement today a little Log-text if he founds a dead drake to monitor this.
Anyhow please insert your Logs (tvsian and jon310) maybe I could find out what happens.

I only tested the Plugin with Dummy-Mobs (like the Reinkarnated Frost Wyrms in Dragonblight) and there it works great. Testing on the TLPD is sadly impossible.



Did you activate the Slowfall Plugin, tvsian? What Slowfall ability did you use?

If it happens again I'll post the log - I've got a whole lot of logs from around that time from running multiple bots, and I'm pretty sure I know what happened. I haven't run into either of them since then, but I had a raid and a few disconnects so I probably just missed them.

As for the slowfall, I was actually using this plugin which I modified to use the Engineering cloak tinker. I've tested it and it works fine.

How hard would it be to make the plugin take a few screen shots of when it finds the drake or kills it? Don't really need it, it's great regardless! I just thought it would be cool

I downloaded the new files set everything up but I dont see anything in my log windows , and in the plugins menu when I turn on the plugins it just greys out the settings part I had to manually edit the file to set up my snowfall lager any ideas why my plugins settings just are greyed out ? I run the program for 12 hours and nothing my npcscan did pick up dirkee but it was his corpse

If you want to make settings, you DO have to make them to the .cs file itself. The settings are greyed out because there is no settings to be messed around with.

Last night it killed vyrgosa for me, I got the sathel and an blue boe item so this sure does work. After that it went on but I got a WoW error about 1 hour later so no TLPD for me this time.

It looks like the Warrior has a problem to pull the drake from flying mount.
He flys to him and (try to) cast heroic throw, then he falls to ground (I think Slowfall Lager was on cooldown the one time he died)
There are two possible facilities:
1. he can't use heroic throw (because he is riding on a Mount or because he needs something, maybe Rage)
2. he losts the Aggro while parachuting to ground.

There are some confused behaviors:
* He tries to cast inner rage on vyragosa ([Singular] Casting Inner Rage on Vyragosa) several times
* There are many pathing issues and he doesn't move a single meter since the first time on he saw the dragon.
Just some Questions: where was your toon as you stopped the Bot? Was he sitting in a chasm?
What Botbase do u use with these Plugin? GB2 or Grindbot?

Maybe we could solve this Problem together . I don't have a warrior and so I need your help to solve this.
I will write a special testverion for you and then contact you again.

@ALL: Beside that I will write a better Version and load it up today evening with better default configsettings, so people without scripting knowledge are able use this Plugin also.

Should I implement Divine Shield as the default ability to get "slow fall" for paladins?

A cool feature mate, would be to make it take a SS when ever it kills one of the drakes. That way you will have more proof that the addon works and ppl will have a nice souvenir

Im not doubting his plugin my char just killed vyrgosa this night. It would just be a nice feature to have when you probably wont see the kill.
