Timber Farm Horde and Alliance

Yeah, I am having trouble loading the profile. Questing buddy just says "Loading Profile..." when I click start, but doesn't load it.

im in the same boat i cant get any profile to load... kicks or anything.... tried fresh install and everything

For a lot of profiles, you should not start a questing profile in your garrison or any other area than the profile is for. Try be in SMV when you start it (your garrison isn't technically SMV) and you'll see that it works. Your garrison is phased.

I am running a Horde toon and I can get the profile to run, but I think it thinks I am Alliance. As someone else mentioned it keeps running me through Alliance territory and I keep getting ganked by the guards.

Its not finished yet and it seems its better for Alliance atm.

Also, the profile just goes back to the garrison and stops when it is finished... It should go back to the first hotspot when it finishes with the last. Thanks

I dont think people are realizing that the OP isn't updating this and just gave a base for someone else to work off of. I wish I had the ability to I would have done it already. But someone has to take this project, and im really not sure why no one has.

lol youre right one man. But I did update it a little bit today. Added about a dozen trees, enabled combat, and it should loop until you have 250 timber and hearth to garrison when done. If you want to learn to write profiles just do what I did. Download Notepad++ and open it up. Start running the profile and if you see a tree nearby one that the bot is currently harvesting and it doesnt look like the bot is going to harvest it, pause the bot, open developer tools, go to objects and stand by the tree you want to add, press refresh, right click and copy the xml info for the tree, and paste it into the profile. add a new line right under the line that the bot was running and change the XYZ cord. and make sure the item ID is correct.
I know it sounds daunting, but you will be a pro in no time. I just started a month ago and can write a decent basic profile.

Seems to be working quite well as horde, get stuck fighting mobs a lot, but got the 200 timber i needed in 1hr 20 mins so not bad +rep

Ah, the filename looked super similar so I had no idea. Downloaded the new version and I'll try it now.

BTW HB threw 2 XML errors when I loaded this profile:

Can you help me a bit please? How do I find out which line the bot is currently running? I've fixed a few profile errors on occasion, but that's easier because when it throws an error it tells me on what line the error is. How do I keep up with which line the bot is currently running?

I feel so stupid right now... The info tab seems to alway shows which line is currently running.... :/

Just updated with about 20 more trees, and hopefully fixed all the "parse errors." Give it a shot and let me know how she worked

Sadly running by many trees, but in general it collects timber and working like it should.

A better solution might be to search for the object's along a path rather than try and map out and visit every spawn for timber.
