Three Musketeers - fast legendary farm after 2.0.4

I keep getting this error message in trinity...and the game seems to lock up a bit...anyone have ideas?

why using ghom instead of Kulle for leg farm ? i got a really good gold/exp/h with gom on T6 (i'm immune to poison with my barb thanks to the legendary amulet) but i have a 0.5 leg/h on Ghom. Do you have some magic find gear on you ?
i only got a topaz on my barb's helm.

I talked about major slowdowns after the game running for a few hours. I found a thread on this forum and turning off Windows Defender actually helped me alot. Currently have the bot running for 10+ hours since turning off defender and games load "normal" compared to 10+ second loads. respond back if it helps you out when you test it out

I have the same issue where if I AFK for over 2-3 hours, I either come back to the game frozen, or a disc. I will try the windows defender thing as well and report back. Are you guys on Windows 8?
 
For that person who told me a few hours of logs is nothing to prove SS, well since my nap plenty of people have posted their logs and heres mine on T4 Kulle. Mind you about 8 hours in I switched to a MLW amulet which made my Kulle kills go 2x as fast.

For those wizards asking what build to do this on still, either look back about 15 pages or click my name and search through my posts for the build. You shouldn't be in the game long enough to drink more then 1 potion let alone 2. You want to archon blast these dudes away and if low dps, still have the power to finish them off if archon falls off before they die. I will re-edit my post with a wizard build that works for this in a few soon as i finish salvaging all my legs. Found about 4 decent things, ones a 20% fire 30% soj with 482int 5.5% CHD. Good for incase I ever decide to use conflag i guess.

I only run Ghom for the exp + gold tbh, but the legendarys have been coming pretty nicely, in fact ive gotten 2 set peices, one was Zunumassa(spelling) :) ~ BUT I am going to try a 24 hour log of Kulle starting tonight when this 24 hour of ghom is up, to see how much difference there is~

Personally, I love the Ghom for Paragon levels mainly
 
Repost for wizards who keep asking what build to use, this is something i wrote about 25 pages back but it seems no one reads backwards just first post and last post.


Wizards, Archon is up for every run on a new game create this is your IWIN button. Get rid of Astral Presence, Arcane Dynamo, any of that junk thats meant for multi skill/mob killing. Depending on your damage or toughness you can swap these out if your gear is good enough. I posted this a dozen or two pages back for someone else I think or maybe it was a PM but I will put it here for everyone. Anyone who has insight on other classes feel free to do the same, Obviously a mara's amulet makes Ghom more a joke then he already is but that doesn't mean you want to hop straight to T6 Ghom farms if it takes you 2 minutes to beat him to death with your 300k dmg.

For Kulle or Ghom both of these work great with archon(+23% dmg rune), Arcane skill dmg with good stat/rolls if you have it(amulet, bracers, and a good SoJ for elite dmg for sure). If you have it, Use any elite dmg you can find as long as you aren't taking a huge damage or toughness hit whichever your lacking or if you can give some up for it(+5% hellcat belt, 15% 3pc Aughilds etc)

Familiar - Sparkflint(10% dmg + extra dps from the lil fella himself helps)
Energy Armor - Pinpoint Barrier(prismatic armor all resist doesn't matter much, better off with the 5% CC for dmg)
Magic Weapon - Deflection(Absorb shield and 50/50 paragon points 4.3k hp LoH will keep you alive NP. If you are running Ghom or have enough survival you never risk dying go with force weapon for +20% pure dmg)

Rest feel free to use what you use, I suggest Arcane Torrent(Cascade rune) if you are stacking Arcane damage for archon damage.

Unstable Anomaly(replace this with Glass Cannon if you never come close to dying ever)
Blur(Good for real Toughness)
Audacity(+15% damage for your archon since you will be melee range of him the entire time)
Unwavering Will(You wont be moving much if not at all while Ghom sits there, Kulle moves occasionally but stops and this takes effect almost right away again)

If you don't already have a thunderfury or a 2300-2400DPS weapon with a 125-130% crit gem socketed, Find one if you can and your damage for archon and faster runs will boost hugely. Sever, Chantodos Will, Bonesabre, These and some other weapons can roll high dps with a socket. Don't take a 2400 dps weapon with IAS and dmg mod then reroll the ias/dmg into a socket because that will just essentially drop your 2400dps weapon down to a 2200 or lower. Unless its 2400dps+ and your rerolling something like resource cooldown for a socket, WAIT for one to roll high damage + socket. Personally I found a chantodos with 2431dps and it has 7% ias/8% resource reduction and I rerolled the resource into a socket therefore keeping the wand at 2431dps after rerolling for a socket.(changing ias, weapon damage, CC, crit hit anything dmg wise on it can lower the overall dps unlike how weapons used to be displayed)

Your not worried at all about the insta leave? im so tempted to use it.

Daniel what build are you using with ur WD? and did u change any settings for it to attack ghom closer?

Nah, one of my close friends has been using the instant leave feature on different profiles that he's made since the start of D3 and has had no bans

All around pet damage build, Big bad voo doo, garg, fetish, dogs, spirit walk~ easy


ALSO, I unchecked the path around AOE and avoid AOE in trinity, this way he isnt running around kiting. He's tanking the poison, but with toughness + gear + pots + spirit walk + passives, its easy ~

My Ghom stats are in my sig for easy reference... Should I be on T4 for most efficiency? or lower...?
 
Currently transition over to this profile from bounties. I'm using a DH and after reviewing an earlier build that KevinSpacey suggested, I'm using:

My Demon Hunter Build

My DH is not that strong and only running T2 ghom, kills him in about 29-31 secs based on my current specs, 0 deaths.

Anyone who is using DH have any input for changes to my DH setup for ghom or changing Torment level based on the above specs. I'm not sure if I really understand the table on page 1 for optimizing my ghom runs.

Whats the difference between Instant Leave and normal run ?

Instant Leave - As soon as boss is defeated, game disconnects.

Normal - As soon as boss is defeated, game portlets to town and then exits game.


Instant, is much faster, improving games per hour.
