Was surfing the WoW forums and saw this. Moderator was the person you replied.
This guy was banned within the hour of trading the gold. Seems he had a legit reason as well...however just because he traded 20k gold for nothing to a friend his account got a 72hr suspension. I guess it was already known but it just proves that they have an automated system that bans you for trading large amounts of gold which is just foolish.

Obviously they thought I sold gold to this character by trading 20K gold, and my bank toon is level55 by the way, why would a gold seller sell gold on a level55 character.
