What are the specs?

I tried botting just ONE acct and it's very slow and GPH is 50% less than if I bot on the host (down to 200k gph). My computer is i7-930 (stock freq), 12GB RAM, GTX 580 and I can't even run one VM smoothly. Even my notebook with Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz and GeForce Go 7700 runs better and can get 300k~400k/hr.

I followed in VM guide and used a Win7 lite version, did all the tweak and stuff but the performance still isn't good enough for botting.

Did u set 2 cores in virtual machine property? DB works very slow and laggy when u use default 1 core machine. Set 2 or 2+2 (2 cores, 2 virtual processors) on VM machine, reboot it and should be ok.

Did you set the priority of D3 to High or Realtime in the task manager ?

It wont work without that and most people forget to mention that.

I running 4 bots on a i5 3550 on base clock... w/o needs for prioritize process.. at 30fps...

Pretty much something wrong... say ur running on ssd for the love of god :).

Otherwise its possible the windows version on vmware...

I downloaded the Windows 7 iso that was suggested in the VM Ware Guide, cause i thought it might be some settings in my previous Win 7 VM. But it still had very low fps.
Once i changed the priority it worked fine. No clue why it behaves that way, but as long as it works im ok.

*edit*
Are you running each bot in his own VM ?
Cause i run a shitload of D3 clients too if i dont use VMs for each...

Yup to allow 1ip/mac per each also fresh install on each as fresh download from website etc...

Hmm I made my own tweak of w7 business(Main system+vmware)... that one of forum just got me crashes ;/

Btw ur comp is better then mine overall it should run 7-8 vmwares.

What difference would it make on cpu load%, if on some vmware were more than one d3?

on mine it takes me 3-5% on idle system. and 20% for d3
on his case the i7 it takes 1-2% on idle and 10-15% per d3.

So on a large case about 1 extra client only.

Mostly on new i7 u wont notice much difference... but u will need more ram to say. like +256 per system running.
btw those just wont apply to amd... I have no idea how they processor handle stuff but it just bad! :(

Btw... what motherboard u using? Some mobos like asus has option to prioritize front task... so that will bring this situation... give a look on it ;)

Try editing d3prefs.txt or using Normal Win7? Don't allow the Vmware to swap the memory to your HDD.
