Hi all,

As of the last week or so it has been like banging my head against a brick wall getting a stable botting experience.

I decided to go ahead and clear my DNS resolver cache in a desperate attempt to fix my auth issues, and amazingly enough since i have done this i have a near instantaneous auth and everything is working as expected with 5 bots running smooth as silk...( Gatherbuddy )

Granted this has only been for the last half hour, and you may say well it is coincidence, has the servce improved for you all within the last half an hour?

If not then open up a CMD prompt and type :

ipconfig /flushdns

Reports your results good or bad, ( if you want :D )

Unfortunately doesn't help with my problem, still can't get any new meshes from the server.
 
Tested it for fun - didnt help for faster log-in or for the "No-data" problem. My guess is the mesh issues is because of the Halloween thingy. Because after they added it yesterday some profiles in some zones worked perfect - while other profiles that used other zones was sluggish or took pauses. So seemed that all zone that was affected by halloween (quest NPC or quest-mob-pickup-item) was worse allready before the no-mesh thing hit.
 
Stopped working 10 minutes ago and my character just stood still in the bg's :(
 
:( oh well, im still going strong, btw did any of you previously edit your hosts file with regards to the buddyauth dns? if so did you remove entrys prior to fushing your dns?

This is what i did and im still going strong, maybe im just lucky :D

Sorry things not working for you guys.
 
Do you mean the ipconfig /flushdns or did you do something else also?

You're just lucky.

All that /flushdns does is that your DNS cache gets flushed this also happens when you restart your PC
 
Thanks for the reply all, i am aware of the network/server issues, network's/server's can be fickle things :)

I am still running smoothly, cannot explain why - other than resetting my cache and cleaning up my hosts file. Lady luck must be with me tonight!

Dan i am aware that a restart serves the same purpose, i personally don't restart unless necessary, there is more than 1 way to skin a cat :)
