If I was looking to bot solely for self gain and not profit what would you do. Would you buy DB (1year pass) or spend that 25 on D3 gold (about 80-100M EU) I'm looking to gear my main (Monk) - I could improve it with 100M but not perfect it. I would not bot on my main account, I have a 2nd account that I was going to boost to 60 with my main account and then use my 2nd account to boost my alts, once I have all my alts to 60 the 2nd account becomes useless.

I would then use DB to bot the 2nd account however many hours a day I have access to 3 capable machines - but there is the risk that the gold I bot on my 2nd account will get my main banned.

Buying gold..

or

Risking my main but at the chance of multiple millions more...
 
the best thing you can do is come to realize that these games are a giant waste of time and just use the bot to make you some profit while you do more interesting things in your life.

If i'm having fun playing the game, how is it a big waste of time?

You should buy DB, it'll make you lots and lots of gold, and the chance that your main account is banned, is very very low. I've never heard of such a ban.

How? I tried manually playing one of my bots (which also happened to be my "main") and I realized that all I was doing was what the bot was already doing, just slower.

If you're saying the bot is smarter then you are you must have a really low IQ.

Besides that, if I'd be playing this game I wouldn't be botting.
