Thinking of getting HB, need advice

I've spent a fair amount of time on the forums and was thinking of buying HB.

I've 1 lvl 90 char on 1 account, a couple of low characters on the same account and I have a second account with 1 character.

I'm trying to decide if it's worth the risk of using HB. I don't plan on selling anything nor use it for leveling; I just want to stockpile mats for now and figure out how to build up my gold.

I don't know much about profiles but it sounds like you need to create your own to not draw attention.

I was looking for some input and advise from you guys on what I should do. It took me a long time to get my toon to lvl 90 and would hate to lose the account because of all the mounts and pets I have collected.

Suggestions? Any advise would help me make a good decision. I'm also thinking of getting the bot for WOT but I have over $500 (US) invested in that account from the purchases I've made over the last year.

Lets put it this way. The best advice to not lose an account is to not bot on it.

From that point you have to decide how risky you want to be.

Then you go from there.

Another valuable piece of advice, if you are just expecting to stockpile mats such as ores/ herbs, please don't use the public profiles, or else you can expect a ban with GatherBuddy. Even then it is not the safest form of botting with HB. IMO questing/ dungeons/ raids is the safest place to bot and doesn't draw much attention. Where as flying the same exact path for hours on end draws in the heat pretty fast. In the last year,, I've lost 4 accounts due to farming, yet my other accounts I don't farm on have no been banned, may just be a coincidence however.

Also, if you do bot just for gathering, do yourself a favour and buy the $5 battlechest or use your second account so you don't lose your main account! I have 5 accounts and I use 2 for farming 12-20 hours a day, farming accounts have been the only ones banned as stated above.

Usually blizz has sales for the battle chest only cost $5 as opposed the the $20 normally at the store. If they aren't on sale I think if you start up a trial/ raf you will bet 50% off when you go to purchase the full game, so youll save at least 10 bucks.

Last question, at what lvl should my toon be for collecting mats? I know certain mats would require lvl 80 or higher but I'm looking to start slow and work my way up. Also, does it matter which faction? Thanks for taking the time to respond.
