Except the fact HB and the team has NEVER supported use on private servers and advised against it. No where in the terms did it state this key is only good for this version or that version...

If they made a huge interface change, a name change, and launched at the time of a new expansion... maybe offered some new features that where not around in the past then yeah... But that was not the case.

The people who make money off HB be that farming/selling gold and accounts, or developers that get paid for their time will stick around. But the personal users who just bot will not. I see maybe 20% of those personal users buying a new key.
