Havent played D3 in a year and a half to two years and im thinking about coming back..
I still have an active key for a few months, so id get DB going again too.

Just hoping to get some info on whats good right now.. What classes run well with DB and how is DB doing in general right now.
Thanks

Best as always are LON bomb crusader since it's tanky and the damage is dealt almost automatically. Second comes the LTK monk I think. After that it's pretty even, but I do believe a full well geared ww barb could do good. Other than that, people would really like to use the paralysis wizard but it's kinda hard since it's a wizard and wizards are always squishy.

so it looks like almost everything is built into trinity now? no more plugins for rifting an such now?

You are correct. Just use trinity for everything! Just load correct routine and profile and you are done!

Demonbuddy runs alright. Nothing different really other than plugins are now built into DB. Bounties are still incredibly wish washy. Doesn't complete 2 Acts 90% of the time so mats are pretty unbalanced. Seems like some of the routines don't really do well past 60 unless you're just stacked on gear, gems, para levels, etc.

Oh and the community is pretty much dead. As you can see, nearly 200 people viewed your post but there's only 5 comments. It's kinda hard getting any feedback or suggestions on how to advance your bot in terms of rifts and achievements because so few people are actually active on the forums.

Cheers!

If you are gonna start botting, start fast cuz your lifetime keys are no longer lifetime unless you have stage 3 cancer and dying fast.

Now you're actually kind of harsh. If you post anything on the forums, you get an answer in about a day max, if the question is relevant and not just kind of meh. And every routine can easily break 60+ without ancients, it's at 65-70 that it starts to break. You don't realize how hard it is to make a squishy wizard/dh/wd run good

i leveled from 1 to 70 and clearing T1 content since i started yesterday morning. not bad for a fresh start and just letting it run.

Welcome back!

I see a little negativity in here, but hopefully it won't tarnish your view of DB and the latest Trinity.

As always, keep an eye on the Trinity forum section stickies for the latest "BETA" trinity version (I say "BETA" because the ones that get posted to the forums are really tested BETAs). Latest BETAs can be found via SVN or Discord.

Trinity has more combat routines than ever [nearly all of them have been recently written/tested] and everything comes pre-packaged. The Trinity config has been streamlined down. Make sure you carefully go through each tab to see where everything is.

Note: When picking a profile, I would suggest using the ones found in DB>Plugins>Trinity>Profiles as they are the most up to date.

Happy Botting!

+1 qvazmir:
Without running in a group, squishy is a bot's worst enemy. You just have to prioritize your survival stats when gearing then maximize your DPS from there. And if that means your DPS is too low for the GR you want, lower GR level a bit. You should aim for 1 or less deaths per rift.

The bot is never going to play like the best players in the world do by hand.

I will add that the majority of "broken routine" reports typically ends up with me requesting a d3Planner of their character... nine times out of ten they GR pushing while:
Missing required gear (occasionally resulting in default routine usage),
Incorrect skills/runes,
Under 500k hitpoints (or missing massive AR/second resists/armor),
Lacking ancients or using ancients with all of the wrong rolls,
Missing required CDR/IAS/other breakpoint,
etc.

Doing fairly well so far..
Running a LTK monk..
Mostly geared except good weapons..
running GR33 currently and my clear time still isnt going up yet so i should be able to push pretty far..
Already para 165+

Im actually pretty impressed with how little ive had to tweak things this time around..
Pretty sure ill have to start playing with stuff in not too much longer, but quite happy with performance so far.

I got into farming 50+ grifts first day of season using a monk or barb. The bot is really good, it's only at like GR 65+ it becomes "hard"

idont know about demonbuddy anymore, i just got hit by the banhammer :) havent played d3 for like 2weeks

I modified the Trinity default Monk LoN LTK, (1300 paragon, 18000 dex). It works pretty well, it can speed run GR 80-82 in 10 mins, 75-80 in 5-10 mins, 70-75 in less 5 mins.

But it got banned today.
But thanks Blizzard, it saves my life and leave extra time for life/work/family/friends. Bye everybody.
