Thinking about buying Archebuddy - Question inside

Hello all,

I am thinking of buying Archebuddy but ONLY for the Scarecrow plugin. I just want to be able to Automate the redundant task of planting singles on multiple 16x16's.

Is this plugin detectable? I was reading through the Ban section and I get mixed messages because people use Scarecrow + some other plugin.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

scarecrow is very basic, so yes its detectable. Especially if your farm isnt on a flat surface.

Actually, it's not detectable, otherwise the entire AB user base would be banned, however there is always the risk factor, don't farm 24/7 with a name asdfg and get a ton of reports, otherwise then you will be flagged and banned.

And most important, never use AB with an account you value, get a secondary account for that.

by detectable i didnt mean automatically banned.

But the scarecrow plugin does a few things that are detectable if a gm takes any interest in you. Like planting from further away than the client would allow and planting in midair (well, it plant at your current z position iirc). Thats why i specified if your farm isnt on a flat surface.

Do not use scarecrow on a farm partially on a hill or with terrain deformation in it, or you will have plants in the ground / floating depending on the situation. Which are very easy to see and get you banned for
