theTramper: gather

When I try to start the plugin, this is what he tells me:

Starting the bot!
Currently Using BotBase : Gatherbuddy2
Current zone is Talador (Talador - Zone - World of Warcraft)
There are no hotspots in the current profile. Either the profile is not a proper Gatherbuddy profile or a malformed one.
 
ok so i started to use it
how to set in setting to only gather ore, it seems to stop at herb spot too, i checked unmount for ore and let unchecked unmount for herb but don't know if this is the option to only gather ore.

i started the bot in nagrand, does this mean the bot will auto switch zone for example howling fjord, when my mining skill will be 350+ ?
 
Working good, in an hour with confidence. Miss the lumber stuff but will wait for a working version of that. Thx
 
I noticed a fair bit, of nodes that are 'phantom' in the sense the bot is running back and forth to this node. Is there any way to filter the nodes by the Z? like if Im at z=120+ and theres a node in the canyon or underground cave at z=60 the bot is getting leashed. Is there a way to ignore it? thats pretty much my only issue with this plugin thus far. Im submitting blacklist nodes when I can.

ok I found the problem: after having done a fresh HB install, with my old theTramper: Gather settings, still there was no gathering of any herbs/ores, just moving from waypoint to waypoint. Then, a tried to check/uncheck some checkboxes within theTramper: Gather options, and what I noticed it, that having unchecked MULTIZONE GATHERING caused the problem. Pls fix that issue, as I dont want to gather herbs/ores in multizones. attached you will find a screenshot of my other settings.

the bug you're encountering is a Gatherbuddy2 bug (see confirmed bugs in HB release post, there are about 4 critical ones)
ticking or unticking multizone setting is a serversided setting only, it does not change anything client related and was not changed within months.

It is the same blank profile i have been using all along but now it seems to not work and when i can get it to work i dont' seem to get half as many herbs anymore.

I had the same. Starting profile in talador. The problem got fixed when starting HB through HBRelog. Starting TheTramper: Gather manuelly, still gives me this msg.

Its very sad that these days HB, Gb2 and others are so buggy, especially because i am spending a lot time with family now, tho unable to bot properly...;( But i know its not your fault roboto
 
good news everyone
i've finally reached the point i completely redesign this plugin and make it independent from gatherbuddy.
the new version will be using combat bot (pretty much like grind) and will be released most likely this week.
in internal testings i've encountered not a single issue i couldnt fix.
some functions are not 100% ready yet, but i'm getting very close to a release
 
This IS good news...GB2 is crap right now. Hopefully we won't see anymore pathing through enemy faction camps and better elite mob avoidance >.>

you ever thought not to distribute it through Buddy store? as the approval time for fixes is very annoying (at least at the beginning one should think of it because there will be a lot to fix, i guess)

dont get me wrong but i'm over your "bug reporting".
all bug reports are ment to include a log.
on the other hand, the "going passt nodes"-issue is GB2/HB related

i've explained the issue a few times now and i'm working on a complete rework of this plugin to get away from GB2

Force a new direction will fix it. happens for me also, but thats because i mix it up manually with dungeons.
