These fucking loots man! [Rant]

every time i goto my stash i think to myself, who the fuck would play this game? seriously 96 hours go by and one piece of decent loot... that can't be fun

This is exactly why I started botting in the first place. It wasn't about trying to make money at first. Who has the time to play this stupid game for the number of hours it takes to find gear? And then when you finally do get something it ends up being a useless piece of trash anyway. 6 bots going for 3 months, the last two 24/7 and god know how many hours of gameplay between them. That is what it took for me to finally gear my main up with GOOD gear. Whoopee! My main is all geared up, now what? I don't even play it because there is no point to this game. Now, I keep my bots going 24/7 because if I get banned, I wouldn't really care. This game will be in the $5 bargain bin within a year anyway and I will continue botting.

To put it in another prospective. Us botters have essentially fast fowarded the development of this game. If we erase botters from existance in D3, Most of us would still be buying/selling/trading rares and only the elite elites would be dealing with legendaries. Simply put, the economy would be based mainly on high stat rares rather than legendaries. Most of the rares that we've been vendoring would be considered good items in a non botting scenario.

Maybe you have forgotton what it was like trying to play 1.03 or before. You could not play Inferno with anything but the very best of the best of rares. All the legendary items totally sucked ass. All of them. There were NO good ones to be found, because they flat out didn't exist. So you would go from total domination in hell mode to getting your face kicked in like 900 times in a row by trash mobs in Inferno. This is what made me start botting.

I dont see the point of your statement above, i agree with everything youve said but that wasnt my argument, nor was i trying to start one. I was just pointing out that botting introduced a plethora amount of legendaries and set items and saturated the market. If it were a non botting D3 world, we would still be trading rares taking up 80% of the current world market, most players would probably be breaking into act 2 by now rather than facerolling act3.

I don't think that the botting itself is the real problem. The auction house is really at the root of all the problems with D3. It was just a terrible (Jay Wilson) idea, and that is what really ruined the game. If there was no AH, there would be no "market" to saturate. It would not matter if people botted or not. And this is coming from a botter :p Sure, people would still sell stuff on the black market (and they would probably get a whole lot more for their items) but the game would have been much better off. At this point it doesn't matter any more. I'll just try and make as much money off of it until I get banned or enough people quit playing so that it is no longer worthwhile.
