Due to the new Honor Gear system change, there will be a 2 fold increase in BG Botters and as a result you may see a lot more ban reports in the ban section... just in case you thought it is a banwave it's most definitely not.

Neither BG Buddy or Gatherbuddy is as safe as they once were, due to Blizzard's supposed improved pathing detection (or whatever they're calling it that detects you running the same path over and over, etc), so all I ever use mine for is Lazy Raider and Tyrael with my selected character and combat routine. It's sad because I no longer feel as safe and comfortable working my professions, so they have to be done by hand, which is extremely tedious and tiresome. And, with the lost safety of Gatherbuddy, it makes HB feel like an overly customizable PQR bot.
So yeah, with the changes in PvP and the gearing system, I would say that there are going to be more bans coming in because people just don't understand that BG Buddy is nowhere near as safe as it used to be, and pair that with the ability players have of reporting so easily, then you have for a higher influx of bans due to botting.
been using gatherbuddy2 for 7 to 14 hours a day in the past 2 months.. nothing happened so far.

Good thing HB has a little thing that makes you bounce the pathing, and also randomizes the hotspots. Turn both of those on. Sure you may lose a little bit of time when you are flying around, but would you rather try to make it a little bit safer and lose a little bit of time when flying to different areas, or would you want to be in the same flying path as another botter using the same profile? Sure even if you do randomize the hotspots and turn on the bounce, you may fly the same path as someone else for like 60 yds but then you make a turn and never see that same person again. Ive done this for 10hours a day and have yet to be banned or gotten a whisper since. Now for BG buddy I can't say the same thing, I just wont trust it until HB implements a new pathing system for it. So for BG's I just use lazy raider and actually move my toon, and let it do all the fighting. Some people might still (/question) you but screw em. jump around if you feel like they are being suspicious when fighting em.

So wrong, even with bouncing on you run the same path from time to time, on the mm. No one but a botter runs the same pathing to the mm. Think again. Even when it might not be so much, it still is present.
You think bg with lazyraider is more safe? Didnt do anything BUT lazyraider RATED bg's for months. Got a perma ban 2 weeks ago on my main account. So no, its not safer, and the jumping... lol. ONLY gives it away more.

O and muffman, a new pathing for bg buddy is implemented, and ill stay with it that this has increased detection. It is more then clear that from the moment they pushed theyre update with pulse the map instead of click to
move pathing in several bg's ( not all ) it looks like they gave away something coding this. Its from that point the increase of bans started. Like blizzard implemented some path detection.
the only increase we will see is that clueless people will start to gear theyre toons at patch day, the people that dont read the forums, will soon flood it with theyre tears about wtf is going on.
It has nothing to do with stupid people, stupid botters, kids or whatever. These are longterm botters that are getting theyre farm slaughtered, carefull botters getting bitchslapped with bans. Lots of weird shit happening for 2 weeks now

So there are 2 things here to be done.
1 - Or HonorBuddy gets updated and the devs develop a new way of pathing, or,
2 - HonorBuddy is done.
This prob not the post for my question but seen as you are all talking about it, what the heck is the point of using lazy rider if moving anyway... So you move ur guy here and he just ransoms attacks then u move him again.... I don't see the point you most well just play??? Or I missing something yes I don't use it.

with lazyraider u move self and with the right custom class u can be unbeateble like example i have all tuanha cc dk paladin monk and hunter whats coming it does a normal pve rotation and pvp healing or dps just like a human would do but quicker with all cooldowns all you have to do is the movement if you use lazyraider i do arena with my private cc and pve raiding u just select lazyraider in the bot client and config ur custom class and move also turn of clicktomove when u use lazyraider u can turn of clicktomove

"Sure even if you do randomize the hotspots and turn on the bounce, you may fly the same path as someone else for like 60 yds but then you make a turn and never see that same person again." you're trying to prove me wrong on something I already admitted to...anyways, yes there are going to be some people with smarter then average IQ's that will be able to spot/detect someone who is using a bot to play. for instance doing rated bg's maybe someone on your own team noticed it, and they said something, I don't know, nor do I care for that fact. for jumping around, I was just giving an example to not try to attract so much attention to yourself to try and make yourself look more "human". Wasn't saying jumping around makes you safe from bans, you're an idiot if you think that's what I was saying(not saying you are one or anything, but people in general.) No durr the bot ain't safe...does honorbuddy claim that it is 100% flawless? No. It just sounds like you are upset your main account got banned, and you are now paranoid about botting. You know the risks of botting though.

Gotta disagree with that part. There are more people not being banned than being banned. That suggests a couple of things.
1. People running the same pathing over and over, though a few people have said they don't.
2. More player reports due to more users using the bot.
2. is the one i am going with just because of how popular the bot has become. There are a couple of other bots out there but since this particular bot has the most users this is the bot that gets hit the most by Bot Hunters. Chances are high alot of them have the bot to see how it works and what it does just so they know what to look for.
That's not taking into account BGbuddy ofc. I do agree there is a deff. issue with the pathing that blizz seems to have code to catch. If you go here and here and here exactly then chances are high your a bot, kind of thing.
In response to the "I only use lazy raider in bgs". I have used bgbuddy, gather buddy and lazy raider/ tyrael (in bgs/dungeons/raids). Bgbuddy I am leary of now. I had abused it in the past but now am aware of how easily it is to spot. Gatherbuddy I have used and probably will use in the future. I've run 8 hour stints for months while working without problems (probably lucky). Now comes the lazy raider/tyrael issue. I always figured this was one of the safest methods of utilizing honor buddy. I may be looking at a ban now because of it, time will tell. I was dueling another player and my custom class worked a little too well. The other player who was better geared than I was picked up on it after some observation. Needless to say he called me out on it in the midst of other players. Don't want to give too many details but my face was red in the end. It just takes someone paying attention and a person to press the report/cheating option. In bgs it would be harder to single out a particular player in a mess of alliance/horde but it is possible. Just my two cents.
they dont have any new pathing detection, I run bg buddy on 3 diff accounts 6-8 hours a day and have for months. I also use gatherbuddy with my own custom profiles some days I run it 12+ hours on the same path and have for years with 0 issue. the problem is user errors and not configuring CC's properly.

My bot beat 2 players on a true 2vs1, guy messages me complaining about my gear even though he was /spitting on me when he was doing 2vs1.. he put my on ignore list after 1 whisper cos I was /spitting back on him when he was only one left and it was fun
