"The type initializer for 'Styx.Helpers.CharacterSetting' threw an exception"

Whenever I try to start honorbuddy i get "The type initializer for 'Styx.Helpers.CharacterSetting' threw an exception."
I did a complete reinstall of hb, restarted my computer, and cleared my WoW cache, but still got the same problem.
The bot won't even start and I reinstalled, there are no logs.

The bot has been working fine since I got it (few weeks ago) up until today so I'm not sure what went wrong, but I'm out of ideas.

clear your settings folder

HB settings folder? I don't see one labelled settings, just the following: bots, data, de-DE, default profiles, dungeon scripts, fr-FR, Plugins, quest behaviors, routines, ru-RU, tr, and zh-hans.

Update: Switched characters and HB works on my warrior.
*Still same problem when I switch back to hunter*

you need to completely restart honorbuddy when switching characters.
you should have a settings folder inside your honorbuddy folder

Honorbuddy/Settings/

delete that folder.

Ya from what I looked up I think I forgot to do that and corrupted a file, but I still don't have a settings folder in honorbuddy, even with a reinstall. At least it still works for my other characters.

are you sure your looking at the right honorbuddy folder?

Ya I believe so, do the other folders I mentioned in my honorbuddy folder suggest I'm in the right/wrong place?
