The servers being not usable the last few weeks / months statement

Could a mod please lock this thread? It's pretty much not going anywhere by now.

It saddens me a lot to see so many posters not realize just how horrid it sometimes is to work in programming. I love how quite a few of you boast about your vast knowledge in various languages, but it seems none of you have ever produced a single product, actually being sold to someone. The gap between theory of programming versus having it commercially ready is quite big. Especially if you have a product like this.

Let them work on the issues. More often than not these things aint just changing that X to a Y - and believe me quite often once you fix a bug you open two new ones. There is no perfect piece of software ;)

i like these people that say this is whining. Go troll somewhere else. most of us are trying to tell them to fix the problem not whining. If coming here after 2 months of not having a working bot is whining then yea i guess your right. Some times it takes motivation and putting the fire under peoples ass to get shit done sometimes if bossland realizes that hes about to lose alot of people due to shitty service im sure it may put some motivation in his and the devs arses to get them going.

If oyu dont want to see whining close your eyes on the so called whining posts or skip them. This is a company expect complaints if not your just ignorant.
 
Hey Bossland, what kind of dev is needed?

Maybe you can provide us a download file for all meshes, then you don?t need to fix the nav Problem very fast.

Other problem is the Autentication problem.... You can use a "free" user+pass for all buddy ppl for 2 days. After those days you can deactivate them.

this is another apporach at it. Lets see if devs/bossland take your advice as this is better than shutting down auth im sure he can generate an unlimited key then disable it. Very good idea.

Afternoon all...

Just got back after many hours of work, tried to boot buddy but kept getting auth errors.
I've read the forum and I noticed people having these issues aswell.

However there they say it should be solved.. However I am still experiencing these auth errors.

Does anyone have an up to date status about the current state?

Working or not? If not whats the eta for it to be usable again.
 
Time to get a new bot, 4 levels in 2 weeks .. Fucking horrible, fix your problems before you sell a product..
 
I don't really understand how authentication servers work and authentication method, but Bossland should consider skipping authentication while it is not fixed and call it "free days". Not only they get more people to try it, but current users would be more satisfied.

people pay for 360 days not 300 if you have any problems can 'happen, but not that the staff go clubbing while I pay, the contact does not say that at the weekend the bot is not active

This, for those of us that purchased after MoP release, is a refund possible? If not. I would hate to need to do a charge back via the Bank.
 
Run the bot offline. Key query on the server. Less server costs / labor.
