The servers being not usable the last few weeks / months statement

poeple alwase wine about this things...

yes the new expention has coust the the bot some problems i cant work totaly fine becuase blizzard changes everything for the botters to not bot at all
so let the dev team do there jobs fixing it give them time and dont wine about i cant login or the bot is not working
a new expention brings new problems so what they will release an other version of the bot that will work if you dont complane about it they dont have to right u back at the forum and they can be 100% with there mind at the bot so they can fix the problem

god whats wrong with people alwase complaing about something but what are u doing to help... NON you sit there on your lasy ass trying to bot a game that you can do by hand for aslong the bot isnt working

so dont wine and do it by hand you lasy ass #$#@$

If I recall correctly we had at some point in the past a version that worked without the auth servers (the killswitch part in conjunction with warden detection) which was a *use at your own risk* but at least was working at the time.
If these are the same issues as back then, maybe give a *use at your own risk* version until this is solved so those that choose to bot take the risk for granted.
Would at least save some whining.

I also would like to bot today, but as auth doesn't work I can't either.
Just hoping there will be a more reliable solution very soon (so I can hand out the boring part of WoW to the bot again).

Yes the Dev team is small... But in this case, why didi you do so much bots lately?!

Buddy Wing Demonbuddy, Tankleader, Ryftomane. Three of them are total garbage and you can't sell DB anymore. Focus on your main product and MAYBE it will be better for all of us.
 
Now reading all this I just have to write a few words too... I agree with those that say that trash talking isnt helpfull and that Mop was just released and some down time was expected.... BUT then again those bots are made and sold by a I guess pretty sucessfull company... If they were not sucessfull and strong financially Blizzard would have smashed them in court years ago and if you have the money for a Battle in court you should aswell have the money for some kick ass high grade servers located in some premium Datacenters around the world that can swallow pretty much any load you throw at them... I dont want to be rude or fight or anything Im just writing this as a counter part to those posters that act as if BuddyBots were developed and given to people for free from some broke geek college students... But we all know thats not the case... This is a Business and downtime is bad for Business.

/sign. the problem probably results of a weak infrastructure and/or bad capacity planning. proud to got an itil cert tech guy over there? even an itil/prince2 expert level can't solve load issues without increasing capacity... and it was not a secret in the past that load to servers will dramatically increase with the new MoP expansion.

Very reassuring. Almost sounds like its never coming back. Just release a non server side.

you also get some important ingame data from the servers, a standalone product could never be as good as a central database driven solution.


as the CIO of a mid-size publishing house i can understand many of the issues and the complexity of the things going on and on and on and on. developing a bot-client to get a stable state is one thing (and it runs smooth WHEN it runs), BUT load issues (auth & mesh etc.) are a totally unnecessary problem. shitstorms, bad reputation, flamewars, forum load etc. all based on bad capacity planning? that's not worth it. get some real good bare metal stuff and solve the load issue. it's annoying!

if its true what you are saying then you also should say that you earned same amount of money times 5 or even more last month only with HB, or you dont know how to use this bot when its working and if that is the case then you wasted your money no matter if bot is working or not.
 
im a new custumor and its a great product when its working also like most of us i hade the luck to use it all night but now unfortunaly its down again.

if we stop bitching and use our knowledge togheter the hb team can work it out!
just have some patients

To be honest, not everyone bots for money or making gold. I know I don't. I bot the lazyraider bot and just enjoy running dungeons and raids. Making money is not the sole purpose of a bot. I already make enough money outside of WoW that I don't care for that.

there is a fix for it and bossland knows this but i think the buddy team does not care. You can say this and that give them time, be kind, all that but the sole fact is i dont care about all that shit. i care about what i paid for a long time ago and when i purchased this bot it said it would have adequate updates for a lifetime of the bot. Well you lied. Your dev team does shitty updates that breaks more. BgBuddy is garbage. Dungeon/Instancebuddy hast not worked in over a year and it takes you guys nearly a month after a xpac release to even have a non usable piece of software?

Bossland how about you do the right thing shut down sales because selling someone something thats broke or does not work is wrong your stealing peoples money IMO. i pay for something thats broken and cant use? come on guys get your shit together i been a long time customer and i can say you guys where a good company when you where more involved bossland and you had devs who actually cared. It seems this company is going down hill fast. If you dont have devs that can keep it up close the damn doors dont steal peoples money, and tell them to wait it out because your sorry that you have been irresponsible.
 
does this have anything to do with the lawsuit blizzard filed against HB? Does this mean this is a indirect way of shutting down HB forever?

spamming is not the way if the do that they give away a piece of software thats worth allot of cash

i do think its a good deal to shut down new sales till further notice, because the new buyers will come straight to the forums and without reading wil start flamming.

I agree completely Pirox made the same mistake charging a one time fee helped destroy that community in the start it works great but over time less time is invested because less profit is made. The same goes for people that help write profiles to do new things that are huge help in game WoW D3 or other new projects. I mean lets face it using the stock bot profiles leave you missing so many options that make this bot run so much smoother. I mean Dev can find other programs to write that can make them money look at some of the new members from Pirox that are now helping with HB.

These people are very important and vital to all of our community needs but they also need to get a steady flow of money to help cover the cost of such help and new customers and old paying only once isn't the best way to ensure that as it's failed with most bot communities many times. The idea of one time fee I hope gets phased out and a new monthly fee replaces it so that HB can employ more dedicated employees. I mean small amounts coming in steady is way better then all at once unless your company feels that a shut down is coming soon.
 
Do you actually think that your whine will speed things up? We can't bot, yeah that sucks, but whining wont make the problems go away so just do something else.
