Hello, everyone! :)

My problem is what follows:

When I click "start" the bot doesn't do anything, the game doesn't start, and so on. The button becomes highlighted and I can't click it again nor use any other function in the window (however, the program doesn't seem to be not responding or crashing). It just gets stuck, but closes as soon as Diablo 3 is closed.

I have the newest C++ and .NET Framework installed. Before trying to use the bot again, I had done a format of my hard drive and reinstalled my OS, which I did after having first problems with Demobuddy. At the moment, I have no antivirus operating.

What can I do now to help the bot work? I will follow any suggestions.

Please, find attached my log.

restart your pc,
download the DB installationwizard from here
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

download a clean install of DB
run diablo3 and demonbuddy as administrator.

Thanks for a fast reply. Unfortunately, the bot still freezes after clicking "start". It is all the same even after the subsequent steps suggested by you. Any other ideas?

on what OS are you and whats your pc specs?

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate x32 (I was also using Windows 7 Professional with the same result for the bot). My computer is a laptop, Toshiba Satellite c660d; AMD E-240 1,5 GHz, 2GB RAM. Although I was surprised that Diablo 3 run on it, the game works smoothly, especially with the lowest details and resolution configured.

i am afraid you are low in specs

check your CPU and Ram usage % when you are running DB

I've checked: my CPU is at 100%, whereas the RAM memory is normally at about 40% and with Diablo 3 + Demonbuddy it rises up to 60%.

You were right - it was the CPU that didn't allow the bot to spread its wings. I've just tried running it on a different, more advanced computer, and now it works like hell :)
