The only reason i am a little worried

A while back WOW updated and caused Tripwire to go off. If you were online during that time, you possibly got flagged. How? Let's say Blizzard put the patch live at 5pm. They watched, saw botting behavior and threw out the 6 month ban. I'm guessing this because usually they will give a perm ban if they catch you botting. This is the only thing I can speculate. Stealth Patch, Tripwire kicks people off, suddenly some people are getting banned. The pieces fit. I'm curious how many of those who DID get banned were playing when the stealth patch hit and got booted.

Again.. this is simply a GUESS and I am in NO WAY saying this is what happened. It just makes more sense than suddenly Blizzard can see honorbuddy.exe running or whatever.

PS- If you were playing and didn't get booted off due to tripwire, then your probably using a hacked copy of HB and you deserve what you get. Poofters.

I was on during tripwire however the bot was stopped (I think), it could of been on. However it did kick me off.

I haven't touched HB since. I only used CR/Garrison/Leveling. (CRs/Garrison mainly). However I did test to see if it was working one time for the CR but after seeing the ban reports fuck that.

Seriously after tripwire fuuuuuuuuuuuuck that.

The fire is too hot for me so I'm staying out of the kitchen for now.

I wanted to start up another account on a completely new computer I just built but I don't want them linking my main to that alt one even though they will have NO interaction with each other.

Just playing overly safe for now.

Yes, all are already aware, that something is going on, we do see 6 months bans here and there, but never loose the global picture:

Honorbuddy is actively used by 20-50k accounts every day and we are yet to see more than 30 ban reports daily. Yes, 30!

Today we have 28 reports in the Ban Section - Ban Reports (In the last 24 hours)
Yesterday we had bit less than 20.
Wednesday we had around 16.
Total we have exactly 64 this week!

Even if we assume, that only 20% off the players care to fill reports, this could be ~300 accounts out of 50k+ active Honorbuddy users!

This is less than 1% ... correct me if I am wrong!

Now the question. If honorbuddy does not offer any of the 3rd party ( in store bought abilities - example a garrison bot) how as a user are we supposed to feel if its a 3rd party add on that is getting us banned when we are going to the honorubuddy store buying products that we feel are as reliable in safety as honobuddy itself as far as detection ? This doesn't seem fair to say honorbuddy is 100% undetectable but those products you are buying from our store to enhance your honorbuddy experience are for all we know detectable ? That is if i am reading this correctly ? And if im not understanding this correctly ( anything store bought is safe?) then can you say that Honorbuddy, using Garrison boss is 100% undetectable ? This would ease im sure a ton of honorbuddy users minds!

Indeed, you have not read correctly my post.

By 3rd party, I point only to these HB "Enhancements", which are distributed and obtained OUTSIDE BuddyStore, usually outside Thebuddyforums too and these products could have enough flows for your account to be flagged. simply because noone but their Devs have checked their security.

On the other side, the HB Core Developers do check for consistency ALL of the products offered on the BuddyStore, not only the paid products, but free ones too. And only after they are satisfied with their security, the products are approved for the BuddyStore.

Careful with an accusation like that. TuanHa has been a great addition to HB and doesnt deserve to be slammed

Now a serious note:
No matter how great addition he is, he must focus more at fixing his free routines. I have supported plenty of people, who had serious troubles with the default CR settings, like deadly poison apply spam on the fishing rods ... seriously!
 
sorry, but using mainstream Tuan routines is everyone's own fault. after looking at his "code" (cough) I would never in a million years touch any of his routines, paid or free, no matter. i'm still botting, still using CRs, no ban so far, and I'm pretty sure I will get no ban, at least not for CRs. You guys should take a closer look at what CRs you're using and learn to separate professional top notch coded routines from bad amateur routines.

after all, knowing the matter and knowing what you're using adds to your personal security. period.

It is a problem when I see these guys have way too many classes to code ..I have supported Tuan but it frustrates me to see him code soo many and one class will wait forever to catch up to the rest...or like you say theres deadly poision on my pole ..at least it wasnt wound poision, that would kill some of the chicks ive been dating
 
I think one of the ban processes is automated, at least i thought I read that somewhere a long time ago. If memory serves me correctly it was though that you account gets flagged to be banned but it doesn't actually occur untill some time down the track, like a few days or even months.
If this was the case then since one would use CR's daily it would certainly appear as though the CR was the culprit but purhaps its more likely something else they used a while ago was what got them flagged.

Its a loose theory of which I believe i've experienced once but from what I remember the auto ban is only 72hrs.

Indeed It seems Blizzard have changed their banning model since a week, so they "give" only 6 months suspensions for regular botting and account closures for severe exploitation like mass botting, goldselling or when botting after previous offense.

They do like to overtune some of the closures with 6 months suspension sometimes too.
