Whether you can get my information or not is irrelevant - I just do not wish to share it freely. I don't see why you bother to enforce registration to download at all considering you don't care if you get the information and the only parts of the forum inaccessible to guests is the downloadable content.

On the plus side, I'm glad that you confirmed that you don't care about fake information, as I'm sure that will help a lot of people out who, like me, don't want to share it.

Just to clarify, I'm not opposed to the idea of off-site development/hosting at all, I just don't understand why with your dual-quadcore server and (presumably) a large data limit you can't offer something so trivial when you've got no use and no apparent motive for collecting information.

Mainly because if someone attempts to share a movie in pieces or something through my site I don't get arrested for hosting it. Its for legal and security purposes nothing else. I could care less who connects or downloads. But as I allow extremely large files, I'd prefer if it didn't wind up abused by someone else. If someone were to host a movie in pieces for something like the online streaming movie site also it could cause users trying to use the site for legitimate uses to suffer. Not to mention without the registration someone could DDoS my server by having 1000's of bots download a file over and over and it wouldn't be able to be filtered as its legitimate traffic.

Which since I'm hosting botting materials it makes it a high propability that at some point we WILL get ddosed. Just like every other site that has to do with bots. So I intend to not make it any easier to bring down my server through even easier methods than packeting.

Alright then, clearly there is method behind it, so I apologize. Live and learn, eh?

Pretty sure I've run this argument into the ground, I won't be posting here anymore.

If you don't want to use / browse another forum to download my CCs there are plenty of alternatives available, I suggest you get used to them. I am not a paid employee of Honorbuddy, I don't make any money from this - infact, it costs me money to continue development and support.
