last detection was from 32 bit client it's a fact....

Stating that last detection was from 32-bit is like saying that water is wet...

When there's 32-bit only, of course the detection is going to come from that.

Can you provide some evidence that a detection wouldn't have occurred if the bot was 64-bit?

Im taking a break for a bit, hopefully not dumping any money into HB or Blizz will create some changes for both.
Blizzard has been failing at entertaining and HB being detected has made it really hard to justify dumping money into a dead market.
Just my opinion.
Im also guessing from the time that i made this post to now there has been ANOTHER BANWAVE, guys this is like 3 or 4 in the past several months.
There is no way to constitute HB as a means to gaining anything other then penalty in wow.

Funny thing is that there are competitors out there that recently changed their clients to 64-bit.
With the recent wave that was in Dec, looking at the ban reports and evaluating these it was those who have run on the 32-bit version that have been permd (those running the client on 64-bit also using Hbuddy).

and the only reason those competitors are "safe" is because HB is the big target and so they focus it more, if HB switched then all those competitors would suddenly be in big trouble. its really funny they claim they have security, if blizard even gave them 10% of the attention they gave HB they would be dead in about 2 weeks. those competitors and their users should be thanking HB

wow, all those 60 fanboy posts...

Bossland would never open the authentication server if they new of a detection method without doing whatever they can to avoid or get around it. If you read the sticky about the tripwire event Raphus mentions that they were implementing a work around which is why there was a short downtime on the bot.

Is this going to make you 100% safe? No
Is it probably safer than it was before the last Tripwire and bans? yes

Until there's an x64 client that's exactly what they're doing. Opening its patrons up to more bans. Like blizzard, they know the sheep/folks like you will just swing and white knight em up anyhow.

Meanwhile they'll hold their hand out until there's nobody left.

I didn't want to let the secret out, but instead of being scummy they could have simply invested the time and paid their employees to write the x64 client yeaaaaars ago and we wouldn't be having this conversation.

They effectively drove their own product into the ground.

even if security isn't a factor, you would think based on performance alone, the desire to keep their software current, they would have updated it for the folks who made them rich.

Simply not worth it. (To them)

I digress.

I'm sad.

For the real gamers out there looking for a real mmo (need to be older than 28 to know what that is) keep an eye on Pantheon until it's release next year.

See ya there!

Sir, Why are you still here if you believe the bot is done and washed? To educate the masses?

I'd imagine out of the hope that he would see a big post saying deepest apologies and that the bot is coming down until legion in anticipation of a x64 client and major updating.

Not like he invested his hard earned money nor years of his life here or anything.

I quit two weeks after we killed mythic archimonde back in September for ww69. Intended to do so regardless of bannings, that being said - I also intended to come back for legion.

Meanwhile I get emails for bans on accounts that I hadn't been on in weeks - accounts that weren't even active. Now I'm not.

Doesn't mean I don't come here once every few weeks to hope things changed (or hope people wised up and demanded change from these guys instead of rimming em up)

Do you honestly believe a firm strapped for cash from an atrocious business model, fighting blizzard in court for years and years, all the while having to pay and maintain a product they received a small lifetime fee for years ago? We're more likely to see Jeb bush become president of the united states.

I've said this time and time again. If HB moved to a subscription model; I and plenty of people would be more than happy to pay a monthly fee if they greatly increased the quality, transparency and internal modelling, analytics and plans.

No, you come here every few weeks to troll people and developers. Get this into your thick skull: there will be no 64-bit HB since it does not provide ANY extra security or performance, unless Blizzard discontinues the 32-bit client. That is the stance of the developer staff, always has been. No amount of retarded trolling, speculation and other nonsense will change that fact. If you don't like it, get out and choose another product.

Okay Interim, enough.

We see you've had your morning dose of vinegar.

You've already admitted you do not use WoW or Honorbuddy any more. ([post=2147665]Here[/post] and [post=2147669]here[/post], and a number of other places.) So, you're basically just trolling our forums, and needlessly grousing.

Just stop. The Buddy forums are not here to be trolled. Consider this your final warning.

Going forward, if your posts are not 100% constructive, we'll be issuing a mute... your caustic 'participation' is done here.

cheers,
chinajade

and x64 client wouldnt help noob look at soap box rotation manager evry hack is detectble also a x64 why would they waste there time on it this bot is just detecble they selling a detecble bot they just update the code so it works for a few days on the patch and you wil be banned when you wake up and login when it says banned 180 days im done with this bot now for a week and i love playing again on my new account with hunter

First off, don't mention other bots on these forums. It can be construed as advertising and is a violation of the forum policies.
Second off, no they didn't. Spending 30 seconds in their forums will show that.
Third off, just ignore people crying for 64 bit. There's never been a single valid reason, security-wise, that anyone's given for HB to be upgraded to 64 bit. It's sad that in the thousands of posts for people crying for x64, not a single person can explain how x64 will keep them more safe. Saying that other 64 bit bots haven't seen banwaves is not a valid reason. When HB probably has 95% of the market share on wow bots, guess who Blizz is always going to go after?

Have you visited their forums? There forums are pretty dead and I find something suspicious when you look at there ban section that there is nothing posted. Either they are deleting threads or maybe since I'm not a member it's hidden.
