The Buddy Store...Worst Idea the Buddy Team has ever had?

Why don't the HB team just be honest. It has sweet eff all to do with "protecting users" and everything to do with getting a cut of what devs are making for third party products. How ironic is it that they are annoyed at other people making money off of their product, just as they are making money off Blizzard's.

Some people ONLY bought the bot, because of premium custom classes. The work the community developers put into this pushes everything forward. This is a win - win.
And again, if people don't want to spend money they DON'T have to. Nobody forces you to buy a premium cc for questing/farming/whatever.

I own 13 routines and love them, I like this move tbh, not because of the streaming I think thats rubbish and the wrong way to go about it, but because I can now apply more pressure to the devs of these routines when things need addressed I have found in the past that they flat out ignore or skip issues, it's the same old thing they though they could get away with releasing sub par things and hiding on there own web sites, Now I will rate them on here and also post detailed Issues with the faults and if they dont get fixed I will be contacting bossland every day until they get fixed.
The routine dev's finally being accountable is fantastic!

I really don't understand you all. Botting and getting money in RL from this masterpiece of a bot that costs NOTHING.
Now is it really a problem to pay someone who made a pro routine or took 100s of hours to write a bot base? I mean really? 20-40€ thats a lot of money CONSIDERING almost everyone

Actually, BotOperator, we are being forced to use the shop. The bot doesn't ship with any questing profiles out of the box. So if we want to quest, we must use the shop to obtain questing profiles. Even if we don't have to spend money on these profiles, we still have to use the store.

The point is that the stuff was already there and is now only bundled on our page. I fully agree to pookthetook and could not have said it better.
I am not going to justify the store any longer. Its there and it adds benefit to the community in my eyes.
Use it if you like and if you don't use the stuff provided for free as always or create your own things like before.

Can anyone imagine how much work took to put this together? I know i can't explain this to someone who doesn't know how to code but this s.h.i.t takes time
(its even time consuming to list everything make sreen shots and put the description in hb store not to mention coding it self).

And last thing .. when you went out for a drink with ur girlfriend or to the movies or what ever coder stayed at home doing work for YOU. And when you DECIDED now i want to BOT like a pro

There is no logic Hopp and it was explained easily that nothing changed except it has more comfort now to get additional stuff and it is more secure.
Some people can understand but they don't want to. Instead they want to bitch around.
Last but not least its a company decision to have the store and its with everthing that is new, some like it, others not.

At the very bottom of that post, after it's explained how you can obtain the profile from the buddystore, you can see:

so you can still have an updated copy of the profile through SVN should you wish that.
It's close to the signature so maybe people tend to overlook the SVN link.
